From crafting and storing loot to vampiric research and refining blood essence, everything you do revolves around the stronghold you’ve built. But there can be situations when you choose the wrong location, or it becomes too far from your new objectives.

Fortunately, you won't need to disassemble and reassemble the castle as you did before the full release of the game. Now, V Rising has a Castle Relocation Heart, an indispensable thing that will allow you to move your base anywhere, and we will tell you how it works.

How To Relocate Your Castle

You can unlock the Castle Relocation Heart after completing the First Book in the Library quest. After finishing it, you will find the Castle Relocation Heart in the build menu, and it costs only 100 Blood Essence to craft.

A step-by-step guide on how to use it to move your castle:

• Pick a new location where you want your castle to be.
• Clear the area - chop down trees and remove anything that could block building space.
• Open your build menu and navigate to the Foundations section.
• There, choose and place the Castle Relocation Heart at the new spot. This is your anchor point for constructing the castle.
• Once placed, interact with the Relocation Heart and select Connect a Castle Heart.
• After that, a map will open where the castles you have built will be displayed. Interact with the one you want to move.

Now, here’s where things get interesting. You won’t see your castle teleport to the new location. Instead, you will gain access to everything from your previous castle - floors, walls, crafting stations, furniture, and so on. And you can find it inside your build menu. You can now place them wherever you want at no extra cost. It’s like rebuilding.

This is especially handy because you’re not forced to move everything. Maybe you only want to bring key parts of your build, it's up to you.

Whatever you leave behind will be dismantled automatically, and all resources from those objects will be deposited in your Travel Bags, including any items stored inside chests. That way, nothing is lost in the shuffle.
