Cube, Cubic N Cubie Event Eligibility
The Cube, Cubic n Cubie event started on April 29, 2025, and the last date to claim the limited rewards is June 11, 2025.
You'll also have to reach Union Level 22 to participate in the event. There are no quest requirements, so players who still haven't cleared Jinzhou can claim all the rewards.
This event is marked as Permanent, which means it will stay even after the patch is gone. The catch to this is that the limited rewards will disappear after the patch is over, which includes most of the Astrite.
You'll be able to claim the Standard rewards, but that is less than ten percent of what the event offers. As such, it's highly recommended you finish it before the June 11 expiry date.
Cube, Cubic N Cubie Event Guide
In the Cube, Cubic n Cubie event, the Rover and a bunch of their companions have turned into small cubes, and are tasked with defeating the monster in Abbowser Castle. You don't have to own any of the companions, as the cube versions will be given to you during the event itself.
During the event, you must progress through the story while fighting enemies in the Abbowser Castle. Initially, you will be given the Shorekeeper, Jinhsi, and Changli Cubes. The rest will be unlocked while playing the story.
The entire event is divided into two parts, namely the Cube World and the Abbowser Castle.
The Cube World is where you will find the Anniversary Cake that will grow as you progress through the story. You can freely roam in the Cube World, talk to your companions, and level up your Cubes.
The Abbowser Castle is where the combat activities take place, with no free-roam options available. However, if you want to come out victorious, you must manage your cubes properly. The details surrounding these have been discussed in the following sections.
How To Manage Your Cubes
Every Cube is a companion you have met during your journey through both Jinzhou and Rinascita. There are a total of twelve Cubes, which include Jinhsi, Changli, Shorekeeper, Camellya, Roccia, Brant, Carlotta, Zani, Phoebe, Cantarella, Calcharo, and Cartethiya.
Once you obtain the Cubes, you can level them using Special Cube Cookie obtained through combat activities in Abbowser Castle. As you level up the Cubes, they become stronger and their combat prowess increases.
Every Cube comes with a special skill that can be either enhanced, changed, or altered by using Modules.
How To Use Modules
Modules are buffs that enhance Cubes in the Cube, Cubic n Cubie event. These are obtained by completing combat missions in Abbowser Castle or from purchasing them using 1st Anniversary Coins from Abbowser's Shop, found in the bottom right corner of the screen.
Every Cube has ten slots, and they unlock as you level up the Cubes. Additionally, while progressing through the story, you will come across three kinds of modules, namely the Standard Module, Ability Module, and Awakening Module.

Standard Module
Increases the basic ability of the Cube, which can be a boost to its Attack, or Skill Efficiency, or Duration.
Ability Module
Allows the Cubes to access the main skill of other Cubes in addition to their own ability. For instance, Jinhsi will be able to use Changli's main ability and more.
Awakening Module
Completely alters the Cube's abilities and thereby grants a new playstyle.
Once you have leveled up your Cubes and attached the Modules, it's time to fight.
How To Fight With Cubes
The Cubes basically replace your Echo slot while you participate in combat activities within the event. Before you dive into a challenge, you'll have to select a team, similar to how you do it in every other activity within the game.
Once done, you will notice an empty box slot on each character, where you must equip a Cube. Once the Cubes have been equipped, you can dive into the battle. During battle, your Cube companions will fight the enemies normally.
However, depending on which Cube you equipped on a character, you can transform into one of them in the middle of combat. At this point, the transformed Cube will automatically use its special ability, and then you will revert to your original character.
Some of the stages also have co-op, so if you want, you can call your friends to assist you against Abbowser. You also receive Trial Resonators during the event to assist you in combat.
