Destroying hordes of enemies is commonplace in Warframe, but few do it with as much raw power as Atlas. This headless Warframe uses the sheer power of their fists to obliterate targets, petrifying them in stone before delivering a crushing blow. He's fast, deals immense damage, and can be fairly tanky with the right loadout.

PostsToday, we'll be looking at how to make Atlas the ultimate melee Warframe for players who want to slide and punch everything into star dust. Let's go over how to craft Atlas and his Prime variant, explore how his abilities and augments function, and then showcase a useful build that will scale in Steel Path content.
How To Get Atlas
Atlas can be obtained from the Jordas Golem boss fight on Eris. Starting this fight will require you to create a Golem Assassination Key, which will require you to obtain every material that drops from Infested Juggernauts. You can spawn Juggernauts in any Infested ship tileset, notably most of the missions on Eris. Atlas' main blueprint is obtained from "The Jordas Precept" quest.

How To Get Atlas Prime
As with virtually all Prime items in Warframe, Atlas Prime can be obtained by cracking open Void Relics with Atlas Prime components. Completing activities in Warframe will have a chance of dropping a Void Relic, which you can then bring to a Fissure mission on the Star Chart to crack open. You'll receive one of the six items listed in the relic's reward pool. If Atlas Prime is in the pool, there's a chance you'll get an Atlas Prime component.
Specific relics with Atlas Prme components are always changing, so keep your eyes peeled on the Codex for exact drop locations. Alternatively, you may trade for Atlas Prime's components through player trading.

Passive
Becomes immune to knockdown effects while on the ground.
There's not much to explain here. So long as Atlas is currently on a solid surface, he is immune to all incoming knockdown effects. This means you can avoid using Primed Sure Footed and similar knockdown mods on most builds, freeing up your Exilus slot.
While not mentioned in the passive screen, Atlas has an additional resource called Rubble. Enemies who are Petrified and slain by Atlas will drop chunks of Rubble you can collect from their corpse. Stacks of Rubble increase Atlas' armor rating, up to +1,500 armor. If Atlas is injured when you grab Rubble, he'll be healed instead.
Landslide
Bash enemies with an explosive sliding punch. Repeat up to three times for a combo attack. Each hit in the three-punch combo increases the radius of thea ttack. Energy cost is reduced with each hit of Landslide. Install mods on the Landslide Fists to boost stats.

Atlas slides towards the reticle and punches the target with a meteoric uppercut, dealing substantial damage and building up Atlas' Landslide combo. Casting Landslide again while in this state will deal more damage, have a larger AoE, and cost less Energy. This can chain up to three times, with the final strike dealing substantially more damage.
Landslide makes use of Atlas' exalted fists, so you'll want to mod those for as much raw damage as possible to scale Landslide's damage. Beyond that, you can scale its base damage with Ability Strength and AoE coverage with Ability Range. If you're struggling to keep Landlslide's combo, consider speccing for some Ability Duration.

A wall of boulders will appear in front of Atlas, blocking all incoming enemy fire. This wall is invulnerable for the first four seconds, adding any damage received to its total HP. Activating the ability again will collapse the wall into a boulder that will roll towards enemies. Enemies struck by the boulder take moderate damage and are ragdolled if they aren't an Eximus or miniboss enemy.
In general, this ability is not particularly useful except for blocking off pathways in stationary misisons. We recommend subsuming over this ability for something stronger.
Petrify
Atlas' hardened gaze will fossilize foes, increasing the damage they take, healing Rumblers, and create Petrified Bulwarks. When shattered, petrified enemies drop healing Rubble for Atlas.

This ability may be subsumed onto other Warframes through the Helminth system.
Atlas crosses his arms and flashes targets with a petrifying gaze, instantly freezing targets caught in your gaze. Enemies who are petrified receive 50% more damage from all sources and drop Rubble on death, which you can pick up to scale Atlas' armor or heal any lost HP. If you Petrify your Rumblers, it'll heal them instead to full HP. Petrify also buffs the strength of your Tectonic walls if any are in its path, increasing their HP and damage dealt while in boulder form.
Petrify's distance is affected by Ability Range, although the cone angle of the gaze is not influenced by your range stat. Therefore, it's ideal to stand as far away as possible while casting Petrify to affect as many enemies as possible.
Rumblers
Summon two elemental stone brawlers to the melee. Summoning petrifies enemies in close proximity to Atlas. When finished, Rumblers collapse into a pile of healing Rubble.

Atlas slams the ground and creates two bodyguards, both of which are made of stone. These guards will attack all nearby enemies with ranged boulders or melee strikes, dealing a small amount of damage in a moderate radius. You can mod the damage of your Rumblers with Ability Strength, which we recommend if you want to make them remotely useful.
Your Rumblers are mostly used for drawing enemy aggro, taking enemy fire while you leap from target to target with Landslide. If your bodyguards get weak, use Petrify to heal them to full. Alternatively, cast Rumblers again to detonate them early, creating Rubble where their corpse is.

PostsAtlas Augments
Atlas has access to six augment mods, one of which is tied to PvP and Nightwave rewards. Excluding Rumbled, all augments may be obtained from the Steel Meridian and Red Veil Syndicates. You must be max rank with either Syndicate to purchase these mods, each costing 25,000 Standing. Alternatively, you may trade for these mods from other players.
Rubble Heap
Passive: When above 1,400 Rubble, Landslide costs no Energy, deals 2x damage, and travels 2x further.
Rubble Heap grants multiple bonuses to Landslide if you have 1,400+ Rubble active. While in this state, Landslide is free to cast and has double the lunge range, multiplicative with Ability Range. However, the damage bonus is additive with Ability Strength, making it a fairly weak augment if you're already speccing for Strength. Pair this mod with Path of Statues to trigger Rubble Heap as quickly as possible.
Path Of Statues
Landslide: Leave a trail for 12s that petrifies enemies for 6s.
Any distance you cover with Landslide will leave a pile of rubble behind Atlas, petrifying targets who get caught in the path. Enemies petrified this way will drop Rubble when slain, allowing you to pasisvely build up Rubble without having to cast Petrify. Pair this with Rubble Heap for a strong Landslide build.
Tectonic Fracture
Tectonic: Create up to 3 walls with 100% HP. Walls can no longer be turned into boulders.
Tectonic no longer creates boulders on recast. Instead, reusing the ability will summon an extra wall, allowing for up to three walls. This can be useful for blocking enemy pathways or keeping a defense operative in one spot, but this augment is otherwise extremely niche and not worth using. Strength does not affect the wall cap on this augment.
Ore Gaze
Petrify: Petrified enemies are scanned into the Codex and have a 25% chance to drop additional loot.
Ore Gaze turns Petrify into a looting ability. Slain petrified enemies have a 25% chance to drop bonus looted, which is affected by Ability Strength. Since you can subsume Petrify onto other Warframes, you can technically use Ore Gaze on any Warframe.
Rumbled
Rumblers: Atlas becomes a Rumbler with Rock Armor, granting Overguard up to 300% of max HP.
Rumbled turns Atlas into a massive Rumbler, forgoing his weapons and parkour maneuverability for 300% Overguard and a new set of moves.
- Melee: Punch the target in front of you, dealing 50 base IMpact damage. Attack is unaffected by mods but ragdolls targets.
- Range: Throw a boulder at the target, detonating on impact. Damage is affected by Landslide Fist mods, although you cannot modify the boulder's blast radius.
You cannot jump, crouch, or bullet jump while in this state. Rolling and aim gliding are still possible, however. This is mostly a fun mod to use in low-stakes PvE content. For harder activities, you're better off using another mod.
Use Ability Strength to scale the Overguard provided by Rumbled. Should your Overguard drop, you will automatically be pulled out of your Rumbler state.
Titanic Rumbler
Rumblers: Create a single Rumbler with 300% HP and 400% damage. Reactivating will cause it to slam the floor and knockdown enemies in 15m.
Titantic Rumbler merges both Rumbler bodyguaurds into one massive guard, featuring 300% more HP and 400% more damage. You can further scale the Rumbler's damage and HP with Ability Strength mods, making it a solid companion for easier activities.
Casting the ability again will cause the Rumbler to slam the ground near your reticle, knocking down enemies. THe damage of it isn't great (500 Impact), but you can scale the slam with Ability Strength and Range mods.
Atlas Builds
We'll be covering one Atlas build today that makes him a melee powerhouse, punching enemies with such force that all nearby targets are taken out of the fight. For your Focus school, consider Naramon for combo duration or Zenurik for passive Energy regeneration. And for survivability, we suggest HP tanking with Atlas unless you push level cap content, in which case shield gating will serve you better.
Landslide Build

This build is focused on making Landslide the strongest ability in Atlas' kit. We use two augments to make Landslide shine: Rubble Heap and Path of Statues. The former makes your Landslides free and have double the range if you get 1,400+ Rubble on Atlas. To get that easily, we run Path of Statues to petrify targets just by using Landslide.
You'll need some Ability Strength to make this work, which is where Blind Rage and Umbral Intensify come into play. Since Rubble Heap makes your Landslides free, Energy isn't a major issue here. Primed Flow will help with any Energy woes, provided you can get Energy Orbs to spawn through Dethcube or similar sources.
For survivability, use Adaptation and Umbral Vitality for a boost to your DR and HP. Rubble itself will grant up to +1,500 armor, making Atlas considerably tankier. Overextended and Cunning Drift make Landslide a much smoother skill to use from a distance. Finish the build with Swift Momentum to extend your melee weapon's combo duration.
As for your melee weapon, we go for a rather generic damage setup. Primed Pressure Point and Condition Overload give you more than enough melee damage for most content. Organ Shatter with Galvanized Steel greatly buffs your critical stats, which you can further enhance with Blood Rush as you scale combo count. Melee Exposure gives you free Corrosive damage. Nourish grants Viral, so we mod for Blast as our elemental combo.
