Warframe is an online shooter frequently compared to Destiny due to its sci-fi setting and the nature of the genre; however, in execution, it's wholly different. The gunplay comes with acrobatic flair and satisfying movement mechanics, and like in Monster Hunter, up to four players can farm cool-looking loot together. This aspect of the game is colloquially dubbed the Fashion Frame.

PostsThe Syandana is no small part of Fashion Frame. They are cosmetic items worn on the back of the Warframe. Being a cosmetic item in a free-to-play game, most Syndana will cost Platinum, the game's premium currency. Fittingly, when translated from Sanskrit, Syandana can mean flow or rush, evocative of the high-octane gameplay.
Updated on May 18, 2025, by William Quick: Warframe first appeared in 2013, and since then, it has continued to provide a sci-fi cyberpunk MMO playground for people who want to do fancy moves with fancy weapons while looking fancy. The technological aspects and designs are creative and make us want to learn more about the warframes, the Tenno, their powers, and precisely what's happening in their universe.
With the release of Warframe:1999, more questions and new content have been thrown into the flowing back accessory of the Syandana, one of the more awesome accessories. Here are some of the best ones you can pick up.
13 Huitzilin
Cost
Description
90 Platinum
"Spread your monolithic wings."
If you're going to have something on your back, wings are always a good choice. Even though the Huitzilin Syandana won't give you the power to fly, it'll encourage you to spend much more time diving and leaping through the air to see how graceful you look.
At 90 Platinum, the Huitzilin is one of the more affordable Syandana, despite its intricate design. The cybernetic wing attachments are linked together by a golden ring, and glowing hot tassels hang down to enhance your overall flow when moving. Become the angel of cyberpunk justice!
12 Khinn
Cost
Description
255 Platinum
"The glow of the Khinn Syandana inspires inward reflection."
The Khinn Syandana is one of the entries that doesn't stand alone because it can't. To pick up this little number, you'll need to gather 255 Platinum and buy the Baruk Doan Collection, which includes two skins and this Syandana. It was so much for the back that it needed some solid leg support.
The main features are the golden accessories and attachments with flower and petal-like designs, as if planted on your back. The base, which starts at the top of the legs, has the largest petals, where a long strip of cloth flows out from them. Then, you've got the little lanterns to make the whole thing look slightly lighter.
11 Nosos
Cost
Description
375 Platinum
"The signature Syandana of Nidus Phryke."
Some Syandanas are so unusual that you can't help but look directly at them... And they might look back at you. The most prominent feature of the Nosos Syandana is the huge eye near its top, placed between your shoulder blades. It's creepy yet alluring, and you don't know whether having an eye on your back will help you noticeably.

Posts 1In addition to the eye, the wing-like pieces to the sides, along with the cloth strip ending in a ring, may take some inspiration from biblically depicted angels, giving the whole thing a divine aura. You'll need to buy the Nidus Phryke Collection for a good 375 Platinum to get this arguably sentient cosmetic.
10 Raiji
Creator
Description
led2012
"The Raiji Syandana, worn by the few Tenno who have mastered all the focus schools."
The Raiji is a TennoGen Syandana created by user led2012. The description reads that this particular garment is intended to be worn by those who master all five schools of Focus. In-game, however, the player can only follow one of the five paths, as schools are meant to represent different disciplines, aligning with a Tenno's personality to be reflected in their combat styles via various abilities.
The Raiji seems to take heavy inspiration from Shinto mythology. From a design standpoint, this Syandana is similar to the tomoe drums. In terms of its name, it's likely a reference to the thunder god, Raijin. Overall, this design stands out from the rest because it has a specific shape, instead of just being another scarf. Fans of this Syandana vocally expressed that they would like to see Raiji spin, which would indubitably be cool but would immediately put all other designs to shame.
9 Solstice Ki'Teer
Cost
Description
425 Ducats + 200,000 Credits
"A Ki'Teer Syandana that has been adorned with a festive design."
There are plenty of Solstice Syandana in Warframe. They all have reoccurring design elements in the form of color schemes and patterns resembling a Celtic knot. The Solstice line is made with festivities in mind, and so looks very noble, while still clearly remaining as clothes made for combat.
The overall feel suggests associations with a handful of other games. The aforementioned pattern, paired with the color scheme, is reminiscent of the Shiekha patterns from Breath of the Wild, while the glow is reminiscent of FromSoftware's flagship weapon. The Solstice Ki'Teer wins over its contemporaries because its structural design closely resembles Bloodborne's spin on the Moonlight Greatsword.
8 Valesti
Creator
Description
led2012 Xtygian
N/A
Valesti is a TennoGen Syndana made through the collaboration of led2012 and Xtygian. The Valesti is a slick, somber design seemingly crafted to adorn an assassin in the shadows, befitting the creator's name. The Stygian blades of the Syndana resemble feathers, and in its default state, the Valesti shares a strong likeness with those of a corvid variety.

PostsThe design has been reworked a handful of times, but there isn't as much information on its creation. Customizing the piece's color produces impressive results even with the most garish of color palettes.
7 Enthra
Cost
Description
225 Platinum
"Strike a cutting figure with Nyx's mesmerizing signature syandana."
Nyx is a Warframe with psychic abilities who excels at disrupting movement and positioning of enemy ranks. The Enthra Syandana is part of the Nyx Pasithea Collection, a deluxe three-piece gear set acquired from the Market. Unlike the Pasithea outfit, the Enthra Syandana cannot be obtained separately.
Enthra's design is slick and elegant, looking like an artisan piece. Akin to fragments of a stained-glass window, flecks of red are embedded along Syandana's blade's curves, accentuating the design's deadly nature.
6 Mucusk
Cost
Description
100 Platinum
"A crown of bone spawns a mass of writhing, meaty, Infested tentacles."
The Mucusk was made for people with gothic-leaning aesthetic sensibilities. Its design is a set of bones arranged to resemble a crown, with a mass of gnarly tentacles sprawling forth. The piece resembles a fraction of an Eldritch entity beyond human comprehension, lifted straight out of a Lovecraftian novel.
Tentacles have—for better or worse—become synonymous with Lovecraft over the years, so we can extrapolate that its name was derived from the combination of 'mucus' and 'mollusk'.
5 Celestia
Cost
Description
Conclave Offering
"Displays Daily Conclave Challenge progress, with a beam of light for each completed challenge."
The Celestia is one of the Syandana acquired exclusively from Syndicates. In Warframe, Syndicates are factions that represent different ideologies. Players can do specific tasks to increase their standing with the organization and earn rewards. Once you achieve Mastery Rank three, the Syndicates will be unlocked. Although it's possible to use the Relay to access the Syndicate representatives earlier in the game.

PostsAll the Syndicate Syndana are unique because they have a level of interactivity built into the design - any time certain conditions are met, the Syndana will react in a specific way. The Celestia was chosen as the Syndicate representative because of its ostentatious design and the way each flame node will glow depending on the progress of the daily quest for the Conclave faction.
4 Icarius
Creator
Description
Malaya Scharkie Jadie
"A modern reproduction of an old relic from the Old War."
This TennoGen Syandana design was made through the collaborative efforts of users Scharkie, Malayu, and Jadie. The design is generally loved by the Warframe community but had to undergo a rework and be downsized because it started as a little problematic and unwieldy, blocking the view of other players when equipped.
The Icarius is a set of wings connected by a spinal cord structure. The inspiration for the piece's name takes root in Greek mythology, calling back to the boy who flew too close to the sun. However, the metallic colors and the blue glow that emanates from them are reminiscent of something much darker, the color palette often found in the Dead Space series.
