Wilmot Works It Out is quite a long adventure, featuring 75 jigsaw puzzles to solve. Determining which piece belongs to which puzzle is already a challenge in itself. But do you want to take the difficulty to an even higher level? Then you should try the game’s Marathon Mode.
This mode adds an extra layer of challenge once you’ve completed the game. However, don’t take this mode lightly—it can take longer to complete than the regular game. In this article, we’ve explained Marathon Mode and its details to help you tackle it.
Marathon Mode, Explained
Marathon Mode is not available at the start of the game. To unlock it, you must first complete the game once. After that, when starting a new game from the main menu, you will see Marathon Mode among the options, allowing you to access this special mode.
It’s important to note that this mode differs from the regular game mode. In Marathon Mode, deliveries continuously arrive at your door. As you collect them, new ones keep coming until you’ve received all the puzzle pieces. Unlike the regular game, puzzle pieces in these deliveries span all seasons, meaning you’ll need to complete every puzzle from all seasons to finish the mode.
The Hallway—the room where you receive deliveries—is much larger than usual, as you’ll need plenty of space to work on all puzzles simultaneously. You will need to solve a total of 75 puzzles.
Keep in mind that the Hallway's walls aren't big enough to hold all completed puzzles. Make sure to move finished puzzles to other rooms as you go. Unlike the regular mode, all rooms are unlocked in this mode.
