It's been a very long road, but we're finally here. Ten months after its existence was revealed, and five months after it was confirmed to be getting a worldwide release, Konami has finally caved and told us what will be included in the collection. Despite its cover art being shown off and its release date confirmed, the studio has seemingly been reluctant to confirm which games would be a part of the collection.

Posts By Alexander PineraEven now, as spotted by Gematsu, it isn't an official announcement from Konami that has revealed the full slate of Yu-Gi-Oh games included with the Early Days Collection. Confirmation of which games will be a part of it comes courtesy of its Nintendo eShop listing going live in Japan. If you've already seen the list that leaked in November, turns out it was accurate as the real thing matches up.
Konami Has Revealed The 14 Games In Its Yu-Gi-Oh Early Days Collection
Five Of The 14 Will Be Released Outside Japan For The First Time
via KonamiThere was a hope that one of the reasons Konami was being so coy about a full reveal was because it planned to include some of the first Yu-Gi-Oh console games in its collection. The full reveal of what's included has dashed those hopes as all of the 14 games launched on handheld devices during a five-year period that included Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance titles.
Yes, that's 14 games in five years without including the other stuff that came to consoles. Times really have changed.
As highlighted by GameSpot, five of the 14 games in the Early Days Collection will be released outside of Japan for the first time when it launches on February 27, 2025. Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters for the Game Boy, which is the game that really helped Yu-Gi-Oh get off the ground, is one of those five.
Yu-Gi-Oh Early Days Collection will launch on Nintendo Switch and PC next year, and you'll get a little something extra if you opt for a physical copy on Switch. The game comes with a physical Quarter Century Secret Rare bonus card, the design of which will be dictated depending by where you are in the world. US copies will include either a QCSR version of Harpie's Feather Duster or the alternative art version of Harpie's Feather Duster.
