Ys 8: Lacrimosa of Dana - Every Skill, What They Do, And How To Obtain Them
There are many ways to gain an advantage over your opponent in combat encounters in Ys 8: Lacrimosa of Dana, and Skills are one of the more crucial ways to do that. Every character in the game has access to twelve Skills and an additional Extra Skill, allowing them to perform devastating and flashy actions in battle.

There are six playable characters in Lacrimosa of Dana, equalling a staggering total of 78 Skills, including the Extra Skills. However, while tons of Skills are available across every character, you can only equip four Skills at a time. You cannot access other characters' Skills, meaning only Adol has access to his Skills, which applies to everyone else. Furthermore, all Skills can be leveled up three times, upping their damage output quite drastically each time.
Adol Christin Skills
Adol Christin is the main protagonist of the Ys series and returns in Lacrimosa of Dana. Christin is a melee-based character and uses a Sword as his weapon of choice. His playstyle is more aggressive than most others and revolves around comboing his Skills into one another to create juggles and stuns in a flashy and devastating way. Hummel Trabaldo Skills
Hummel Trabaldo is a mid-range powerhouse that uses Blade Rifles to remain a safe distance away from his target and still deliver solid damage output.
