Termina Island Main Area Guide
The main surface area of Termina Island is divided into three parts, and you'll get to each subsequent part by going through a cave system. The first problem you'll face on this island is the normal mobs since they're quite agile and will dodge your attacks. Try to attack them normally to trigger their dodge and then instantly hit them with a damaging skill.
The process of getting through these surface areas is fairly easy, and here's what you'll need to do:
- For the first area, simply go all the way to the top left side of the map where you'll get a new item called Gullinboard. Use this to head back to the swampy river and you'll be able to cross it, entering the first cave on the other side.
- In this area, you can simply keep moving forward on the only path you can see. At some point, you'll also have to use the mana rail to get past the beach area. You'll see a puppet once use this ray, which you can then follow to the second cave.
- Simply go through the path to the end of this region to engage in battle against the Magna Diga and end the Termina Island story after purifying the puppet.

Termina Island Cave One Guide
The first cave of Termina Island is also fairly straightforward, though you'll find various pools of water here. These pools will be deep and your characters will get respawned in the last land position if you drown in them. Instead, you have to use the Gullinboard to get across, which is quite easy to use once you get the hang of it.
At some point, your path will get divided into two and you have to take the path on your right to continue. Here, simply use your board on the mana rail to surf across. In the next room, head all the way to the left and go to the upper platform. Here, you can use the mana string to get to the left part with a Crystal Cluster on it.
Once here, you have to interact with the broken pillar to drop it and create a straight mana rail to the end of the cave.

Termina Island Cave Two Guide
As soon as you start this cave, you'll first have to jump across two mana rails by starting on one and then directionally jumping towards the other. Continue into the cave and you'll eventually enter a big room with a bunch of mana rails. As soon as you enter, take the path on the right and grapple across at the end of it.
Keep using your Gullinboard across various mana rails and boosters to get to the top of the area where you can enter the final part of the surface of Termina Island.
