Arknights Endfield Arcane Build Guide: Best Weapons, Gear, Skills & Team Comps
Arcane is a 6-star Nature Caster in Arknights: Endfield who uses an Arts Unit. Her biggest feature is her adaptive kit: if Intellect is her highest attribute, she becomes a more damage-focused Nature DPS; if Will is higher than Intellect, she shifts toward utility, grouping, extra Arts Infliction, and Nature/Cryo damage amplification. Because of this, Arcane should not be treated as only a main DPS or only a support. Her build depends heavily on what role your team needs.

Arcane’s kit rewards players who understand Arts Infliction, Corrosion, and burst timing. INT Arcane focuses more on personal damage and Corrosion value, while WILL Arcane is stronger when another carry, such as Yvonne or Last Rite, wants grouping and damage amplification.

Basic Attack: Artillery Interdiction
Arcane’s Basic Attack is a five-part Nature damage string. Her Finisher deals stronger Nature damage and restores SP. This matters because her Ultimate interacts with Finishers and Final Strikes, but Basic Attacks are still the lowest skill investment priority compared with the rest of her kit.
Battle Skill: Jadecrushing Grid
Jadecrushing Grid creates a field under the target, deals Nature damage, and applies Nature Infliction. In INT form, it deals more damage. In WILL form, it also pulls enemies inward, making it useful against scattered enemies or wave-based content. This is Arcane’s main setup skill and often starts her rotation.
Combo Skill: Yinglung Stance IV
Yinglung Stance IV is Arcane’s most important skill for both builds. It applies Imprisonment, which slows enemy actions, and adds Nature/Cryo Susceptibility to the target and nearby enemies. In INT form, using Battle Skill on an enemy under Imprisonment can trigger extra damage and return SP. In WILL form, the skill can apply another stack of the same Arts Infliction to enemies already affected by Arts Infliction.
This is why Combo Skill is the safest first skill priority. It improves both Arcane’s DPS route and her utility route.
Ultimate: Gloompurge
Gloompurge creates Arcane’s major burst window. It deals damage, sets up a Gloompurger Array, and allows Finishers or Final Strikes to trigger Cluster Strikes. After two Cluster Strikes, Arcane can use the second Ultimate, Gloompurger Arcana, for another large damage instance.
In INT form, her Ultimate can forcibly apply Corrosion and receives stronger damage value. In WILL form, the Ultimate is more about extra Infliction and Nature/Cryo Susceptibility. Because of this, INT players should treat Ultimate as a core damage tool, while WILL players should use it to support another carry’s burst window.
Skill Priority
Priority
Skill
Reason
1
Combo Skill
Lower cooldown at max level; improves utility and Susceptibility scaling
2
Battle Skill
Main setup and damage tool, especially for INT
2
Ultimate
Major burst and Corrosion/Infliction value
4
Basic Attack
Useful but not the main priority
For general investment, use Combo Skill > Battle Skill = Ultimate > Basic Attack. Combo Skill comes first because it supports both Arcane’s forms. After that, INT builds should level Battle Skill and Ultimate together, since those are the main damage sources. WILL builds still benefit from Ultimate and Combo upgrades because they improve her amplification and utility value.

Best overall
Signature weapon; supports Arcane’s adaptive design

WILL alternative
More suitable when building Will-focused Arcane
Type 42: Solemn Phalanx is currently the recommended best weapon for Arcane. It is her signature weapon and works with her attribute-based design. Since Arcane’s gameplay depends on reaching the right Ultimate timing, the Ultimate Gain Efficiency attached to her stronger weapon options is very valuable.
Junction Point is the main alternative. It provides Ultimate Gain Efficiency and increases the team’s ATK, making it a practical choice if you do not have the signature weapon. Delivery Guaranteed is listed as a 6-star Will alternative, so it is more relevant for players building Arcane as a utility amplifier rather than a pure INT DPS.
Best Gear for Arcane
Arcane’s gear should be selected based on whether you are building INT or WILL.

Hot Work
Armor
Hot Work Exo-Rig
Gloves
Hot Work Hands PPE
Kit 1
Hot Work Insulation Slab
Kit 2
LYNX Slab
Hot Work is the recommended direction for DPS Arcane. INT Arcane can forcibly apply Corrosion with her Ultimate, and Hot Work benefits from this Nature/Corrosion-focused damage plan. This build is best when Arcane is your main carry and you want her Ultimate window to deal as much damage as possible.
WILL Arcane Gear

Gear Set
Eternal Xiranite
Armor
Eternal Xiranite Light Armor T1
Gloves
Eternal Xiranite Wraps
Kit 1
Eternal Xiranite Bracing Slab
Kit 2
Eternal Xiranite Bracing Slab
Eternal Xiranite is better for WILL Arcane because it provides a team damage effect when Arcane uses Combo Skill or Ultimate. Its pieces also provide a lot of Will, which helps her maximize Nature/Cryo Susceptibility. Mobalytics notes that Arcane needs 640 Will to reach the maximum value, assuming her Combo Skill is fully leveled.
Best Arcane Team Comps
INT Arcane Main DPS Team
Operator
Role
Arcane
Main Nature DPS
Tangtang
Cryo Sub-DPS and Arts support
Xaihi
Cryo/Nature Amp and sustain
Perlica
ATK support and Arts utility
This is one of Arcane’s cleanest INT teams. Arcane provides damage, Corrosion, and Nature/Cryo Susceptibility. Tangtang benefits from these effects while also contributing Cryo Infliction and damage. Xaihi is a strong fit because she supports both Cryo and Nature damage, while Perlica can provide team ATK through Stanza of Memorials.
Yvonne Cryo Team
Operator
Role
Yvonne
Main Cryo DPS
Arcane
WILL utility support
Xaihi
Cryo Amp and Arts support
Perlica
ATK support / flex Arts utility
In this team, Arcane is not the main DPS. She is used mainly in WILL form to provide grouping, extra Arts Infliction, and Cryo Susceptibility. This helps Yvonne handle one of her weaker areas: AoE Infliction setup. Arcane’s grouping also makes it easier for Yvonne’s burst to land properly.
Last Rite Cryo Team
Operator
Role
Last Rite
Main Cryo burst DPS
Arcane
Infliction and grouping support
Xaihi
Cryo/Nature support
Tangtang
Cryo Infliction and Sub-DPS
Arcane also works well with Last Rite. Her WILL form helps speed up Last Rite’s rotation through extra Infliction, while her grouping gives the team more control over enemy positioning. This team is more technical, but it has strong burst potential when the rotation is executed correctly.

Final Verdict
Arcane is one of the most flexible Nature Casters in Arknights: Endfield. INT Arcane works as a real Nature DPS with Corrosion and strong Ultimate damage, while WILL Arcane functions as a utility amplifier for Cryo/Nature teams.
For most players, start with Combo Skill investment, then raise Battle Skill and Ultimate. Use Type 42: Solemn Phalanx if available, Hot Work for INT DPS, and Eternal Xiranite for WILL support. Arcane is not a simple one-build character, but if you build her around the correct role, she can fit into several strong Arts teams.
