Wuthering Waves Ultimate Rover Guide: Rover, the game’s protagonist, is available in male or female form. Starting with the Spectro element and later unlocking Havoc, they are a flexible unit that can serve as Main DPS, Sub-DPS, or Support. Their adaptable playstyle and evolving elements make them fit well into various team setups.

All Rover Elements

Rover starts with the Spectro element, using a spinning sword attack via their Circuit. Later, they unlock the Havoc element for a more dynamic style. Though not role-specific, Rover’s ability to switch elements makes them one of the most adaptable characters in Wuthering Waves.

Spectro Rover Build Guide

Spectro Rover is a versatile Sub-DPS with supportive capabilities, able to heal, apply Spectro Frazzle, provide crowd control, and deal damage. While they are easy to use and strong early on, they are eventually outclassed by specialized units, including their own Havoc form. Their outro skill slows time, creating opportunities for the main DPS to deal uninterrupted damage.

While they perform well at Sequence 3, they are not top-tier compared to specialized DPS units; however, at Sequence 6, their damage potential becomes comparable to top-tier characters. They can function well in quick swap teams but may require good gear to maximize their effectiveness.

Team Compositions

Rover benefits from supportive teammates who enhance their damage potential and provide healing or energy regeneration. Shorekeeper is an excellent choice for both Spectro and Havoc Rover, offering energy regeneration, healing, and defensive buffs. If Shorekeeper is unavailable, Verina or Baizhi can take on the healer role. For maximizing damage, Danjin, Sanhua, or Yangyang serve as strong support or sub-DPS options.
