Codemasters is today confirming that it has commissioned tactical strategy title Operation Flashpoint 2, currently in development by Bohemia Interactive, and has pencilled in a release date of late 2004, suggesting that this isn't a mere case of reinventing the wheel.
Project leader Marek Spanel commented somewhat cagily, "We have great plans and massive ambition for Operation Flashpoint 2 but, for the moment, we are not revealing specific details of its content and gameplay." Hopefully we can expect more information about the game to arise during or around E3.
