Cities Skylines is set to receive its fourth expansion pack, Mass Transit, at some point this year.

It'll add a bunch of new ways for your citizens to get around the place, including ferries, blimps, cable cars, and monorails; as well as a new building type called a Mass Transit Hub, which allows them to switch between these different modes of transport more easily.

As with the game's other expansions, we're told to expect an accompanying free update. This one promises to bring in a number of ideas from the modding community, with a more substantial public transport budget, the ability to name roads and emergency vehicles will now overtake cars on the road.

If you've clicked on this article by mistake and don't already love the city building genre, you might think this all sounds a bit dull. You'd be wrong.
