UPDATE 9/3/23: After our small teaser earlier in the week, we now have more information on Fortnite’s upcoming season.

Epic Games released a brand-new teaser for Chapter 4 Season 2 earlier today, showing off the game’s neon lit Tokyo-themed city. And, yes, those are grind rails you can see in the trailer.

These rails will be similar to the rail system seen in games like Sunset Overdrive, giving players speed boosts when grinding.

In addition to the rails, we also now have confirmation of the Attack on Titan crossover. Eren Yeager will be making an appearance in Fortnite this season.

Fortnite chapter 4, season 2 launches tomorrow (10th March) across platforms.

ORIGINAL 7/3/23: After rumour upon rumour upon leak, Fortnite has finally confirmed Chapter 4 Season 2 will kick off this Friday, 10th March.

In a brief tweet, the team shared this new season will be dubbed "MEGA", and teased it has all been "made with precision".

As well as these little titbits, there was also accompanying media of a Battle Pass character, that fans have stated is likely named Thunder.

The game's official Twitter account has stated it plans to go into downtime for Fortnite MEGA Chapter 4 Season 2 on 10th March, at 2am ET. That's 7am GMT.
