Undertale creator Toby Fox has revealed he composed a track for Pokémon Sword and Shield.

Announcing the news on Twitter, Fox wrote: "It's a huge honour to be asked to be part of something like this. I hope you enjoy hearing it when the game comes out!"

He clarified in a follow up tweet that he hasn't made a main track for the game, he "just thought it was cool".

Fox previously worked on the music for Homestuck and Pokémon developer Game Freak's recent role-player Little Town hero - as well as composing the infamous music for Undertale too.

Anyone familiar with his composing work will probably agree this is very cool news. Fox's musical work has got a pretty distinct style, it'll be interesting to see where it pops up in the new Pokémon title.
