Step 1: Utilize Jumpshot Creator
NBA 2K25 features a very useful Jumpshot Creator, which allows you to select a base, adjust the release speed, and set visual cues for best jumpshots. Here’s how to access the Jumpshot Creator:
- Go to the main menu screen.
- Select the “MyCAREER” mode.
- Go to the “Animation” tab.
- Select the “Jumpshot Creator” option.
- Create and customize your jumpshot.
- Save your custom jumpshot.
If you’re not sure which settings to use for your custom jumpshots, then check out a number of tables that I listed below for the best jumpshot settings depending on the height and three-point rating of players.
Step 2: Turn Off the Shot Meter
If you want to get the best jumpshots, then it’s important to turn off the shot meter, which will increase the window for your perfect shots. You can read more about this function in detail in our guide on how to turn off the shot meter in NBA 2K25. Also, if you’re confident in your timing, then I highly recommend setting your Shot Timing Profile to “High Risk-Reward.” This simple setting will instantly boost your jumpshot accuracy.
