As you progress through the game, you’ll quickly notice that you’ll need a lot of Granite Slabs for your builds. Although you can find pure Granite easily, there’s quite a process to refine it. In this guide, I’ll show you how to get and make a Granite Slab in LEGO Fortnite

How to Get Granite in LEGO Fortnite

If you’re looking for granite, you don’t have to look far. The stuff is everywhere. Every rock and boulder is made out of Granite. All you have to do is craft a Pickaxe and use it on a rock. To make a common Pickaxe, you’ll need five Wood. There’s also Granite just lying on the floor that you can pick up — no Pickaxe required.

Now that you have your Granite, you’re going to need a Stone Breaker to make slabs. To make a Stone Breaker, you’ll need the following:

  • Knotroot x 20
  • Marble x 35

If you’re having a hard time finding both of these resources, you’ll have to explore caves to get Knotroot and Marble. Keep in mind that you’ll need to upgrade your Pickaxe and Forest Axe to the uncommon versions. I made the mistake of going into caves without the right equipment the first time, so make sure you’re prepared.

After you place your Stone Breaker, you can make slabs. To make Granite Slabs, you’ll have to insert your Granite into the Stone Breaker and wait for it to process. For every piece of Granite you put in, you’ll get one slab. They don’t take long to process either, so stay close unless you’re putting a lot in at once.
