Marvel Rivals is preparing to introduce Ultron as a new hero toward the end of the month. This guide covers everything revealed so far, including abilities, story background, and voice lines. 

In the Marvel Rivals universe, Ultron’s return happens after he hacks into the Cerebro Resurrection Protocols—the same system mutants use to revive themselves. Using this system, Ultron resurrects and steals Cerebro itself, fleeing to Mars, now called Arakko, where the mutants have settled. His goal is to restart his universal domination plans with access to advanced mutant technology.

To fight this new version, Tony Stark proposes a risky plan. He works with Reed Richards, T’Challa, Peter Parker, and others to bring back the original Ultron. Unlike before, this Ultron is reprogrammed with safeguards, meant to fight the more dangerous evolved version. The idea is not to turn Ultron into a hero but to pit two Ultrons against each other and hope the lesser evil prevents greater destruction.

Marvel Rivals Ultron’s Leaked Abilities

Ultron is classified as a strategist support hero with a rare ability to fly. This makes him the first strategist character with flight capabilities. Here’s what the leaks reveal about his kit:

  • Left Click (Incil Ray): Fires a burning energy beam.

  • Q (Rage of Ultron): Summons drones that either deal damage to enemies or heal allies using energy beams.

  • Left Shift (Flight Boost): Boosts forward quickly and enters a free-flight mode.

  • E (Imperative Patch): Deploys a large drone that follows and heals a targeted ally, offering extra healing in its area of effect.

  • Right Click (Imperative Firewall): Summons drones to grant bonus health to allies, focused around himself and the ally with Imperative Patch.

  • Spacebar (Slow Fall): Allows for slow descent when falling.

This ability set makes Ultron a flexible support hero capable of healing and defensive plays while also providing offensive pressure.
