Right now, we have a wave of new Squad Building Challenges (SBCs) and plenty of ongoing investments. Before we get into FC 25 Trading Tips for the week, four new SBCs dropped—one of the headline options is the 94-rated Bachirou card, valued at around 250,000 coins. While the SBC is decent if you have spare fodder, it’s not seen as a must-complete at that price. Additionally, there’s a repeatable icon player pick—skip it, as it’s essentially a scam at this stage of the game. Better options are expected soon. The 89+ hero SBC is also available, but most active squads have moved on from heroes.
The latest League One Team of the Season challenge SBC is also live. Overall, the new content isn’t especially wild, but it gives more options for fodder use.
Team of the Week Trading: Still Viable?
Plenty of managers still hold Team of the Week (TOTW) cards, currently trading for around 22,250 coins. Over the past week, the advice has been to buy the cheapest cards. If you plan to trade them, the “lazy listing” method still works. This means buying TOTW cards 1,000 coins below their value—aim for 21,250 coins—and listing them for 1,000 coins above the current price, around 23,000 to 23,250 coins. This approach allows you to sell hourly to more casual buyers.
You can still buy more TOTWs for lazy listing, but as an investment, it’s a bit late to go all in. However, with the 83×4 SBC expiring soon and new upgrade SBCs on the horizon (potentially requiring TOTWs), their value could keep rising. The risk remains low if you stick to the method. Bid on as many cards as you can—50 or 100 at a time—and list for hourly profit.
Recent personal tests showed success: buying at 20,000 coins and selling for 22,500 and 22,750 at the end of the hour. As long as you follow the lazy listing process, Team of the Week trading remains a low-risk, consistent coin maker.
Fluctuating Special Cards and EVO Investment (FC 25 Trading Tips)
Moving on to specific players, Rafael Leão has seen significant daily price swings. His price climbed from 19,000 to 27,000 coins, dropped to 20,000, then rebounded to 25,000 coins, all within days. The pattern repeats whenever a left winger Evolution leaks, making Leão a strong candidate for short-term flips. Buying around 20,000 to 21,000 coins and lazy listing for 23,000 or more is recommended.
Vinícius Júnior (Vini Jr.) is another favorite. At 60,000 coins, he was flagged as a top investment and climbed to 78,000 coins shortly after. Right now, Vini’s price has dipped, but he’s likely to bounce back—especially with an incoming left winger Evolution. If you grab Vini Jr. at 65,000–67,000 coins on console (or 65,000 on PC) and keep lazy listing for 76,000–79,000, the upside looks strong.
Other notable flips in the VIP Discord included Buffon (250k to 300k on PC), Alessandro Del Piero (45k to 55k), Ronaldo (77k to 110k), and Gianluca Zambrotta (22k to 29k). These quick sales demonstrate the current market volatility and potential for consistent returns.
High-Rated Fodder and SBC Plays
If you have a few million coins, consider investing in 91-rated Team of the Season cards at 15,000–15,500 coins and 92-rated cards at 17,500–17,750. Only target blue Team of the Season cards for this, and do not hold past Thursday’s Division Rivals rewards to avoid losses. If no new guaranteed SBC drops, sell for a small loss rather than risk further price drops.
