As part of Fortnite’s DC Hot Bat Summer event, Poison Ivy has joined the island alongside Harley Quinn and Catwoman. Players can challenge each Gotham City Siren to a duel for exclusive Mythic rewards, with Poison Ivy dropping a powerful Mythic Ranger Pistol when defeated.

Here’s where to find her and how to win the fight.

Poison Ivy Location

Poison Ivy can be found north of The Battlewoods on the small island that serves as the Bus Stop Landmark.

In addition to fighting her, you can recruit Poison Ivy as a Scout Specialist for 350 Gold. As a hired NPC, she periodically marks nearby enemies, making it easier to track opponents during a match.

If you’re after her exclusive loot, choose the Duel option instead.

How to Defeat Poison Ivy

Poison Ivy primarily attacks with a Ranger Pistol, making her most dangerous at medium range where she can consistently land shots.

While she isn’t one of the toughest bosses on the island, she does have a few abilities to watch out for:

  • Stink Grenades that create damaging gas clouds.
  • A healing field that slowly restores her health.
  • Rapid pistol fire if you remain exposed.

Avoid standing in the gas from her Stink Grenades, and keep applying pressure whenever she activates her healing ability. The regeneration is relatively slow, so maintaining steady damage should allow you to finish the fight before she recovers much health.

Poison Ivy Boss Rewards

Defeating Poison Ivy rewards you with:

  • Poison Ivy’s Mythic Ranger Pistol
  • A Mythic Batman Sprite (when available)

Poison Ivy’s Mythic Ranger Pistol Stats

Stat Value Damage 36 Headshot Damage 72 Structure Damage 35 Magazine Size 17 Fire Rate 6.1 Reload Time 1.2325 seconds

The Mythic Ranger Pistol also gains an increased fire rate while aiming down sights (ADS), making it especially effective in accurate mid-range engagements.

Is Poison Ivy Worth Fighting?

If you’re looking for one of the event’s exclusive Mythic weapons, Poison Ivy is well worth challenging. Her fight is relatively straightforward compared to some Fortnite bosses, and the Mythic Ranger Pistol offers improved ADS performance that can be a strong addition to your loadout. Recruiting her as a Scout Specialist is also a solid alternative if you’d rather have an NPC companion than risk a boss fight early in the match.
