How to Unlock the Mongraal Skin for Free

Before its Item Shop debut, the Mongraal Skin could be earned by competing in the Mongraal Icon Cup, a Duos tournament where teams scored points based on eliminations and match placement.

The highest-ranked teams in each region received the complete Mongraal cosmetic set before it became available to everyone else.

To participate in the tournament, players needed to:

  • Enable two-factor authentication (2FA)
  • Meet the required account level
  • Queue with a Duos partner
  • Earn as many tournament points as possible

If you didn’t place high enough during the event, the free unlock is no longer available.

How to Buy the Mongraal Skin

The Mongraal cosmetics were added to the Fortnite Item Shop on June 27, 2026.

To purchase them:

  1. Launch Fortnite.
  2. Open the Item Shop.

When Does the Mongraal Skin Leave the Item Shop?

According to the in-game Item Shop timer, the Mongraal cosmetics will remain available until July 7, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. ET.
