Mechanical Parts are one of the most important crafting resources in Sand: Raiders of Sophie, especially if you want to build new Tramplers or upgrade your existing vehicle. Players can find them while looting points of interest across the map or buy them directly from the shop when they need parts quickly.

Where to Find Mechanical Parts

The main way to get Mechanical Parts is by looting Parts Crates during a raid.

These cube-shaped containers are marked with a cogwheel symbol and can be found at various landmarks across the map. Abandoned towns and factories are especially good places to search, while forts are generally less reliable for finding them.

Parts Crates always contain Mechanical Parts, along with other materials used to craft and upgrade Tramplers and their weapons.

Parts Crate Rarities

Parts Crates come in different rarities, and higher-tier crates provide more Mechanical Parts as well as better crafting components.

Parts Crate Rarity Expected Value Brown Parts Crate Common Basic Mechanical Parts and materials Green Parts Crate Rare More Mechanical Parts and improved resources Red Parts Crate Very Rare / High-End Highest Mechanical Parts yield and rare components

Because Mechanical Parts are fairly common at major POIs, looting is usually the best method for gathering them efficiently.

Buying Mechanical Parts From the Shop

Players can also purchase Mechanical Parts from the shop.

Each Mechanical Part costs 2 Crowns, and the shop allows players to buy up to 10,000 Mechanical Parts before its stock refreshes. This is the fastest way to get parts without entering a match, but it can become expensive if used often.

For most players, buying Mechanical Parts should be treated as a backup option when you are short on resources and need to craft or upgrade something immediately.

How to Use Mechanical Parts

Mechanical Parts are used to craft Trampler blueprints and vehicle components.

A basic Trampler requires 295 Mechanical Parts, but the total cost increases if you customize the design with extra cabins, facilities, or additional equipment. Mechanical Parts are also needed for upgrades tied to Trampler weapons and related components.

Since Tramplers are central to progression in Sand: Raiders of Sophie, it is worth collecting Mechanical Parts whenever you find Parts Crates during a raid. Even if you do not need them immediately, having a stockpile makes it much easier to build, modify, and improve your vehicle later.
