The Unyielding Hero Armor Set was introduced in Crimson Desert’s 1.13 update, giving players access to a five-piece heavy armor collection inspired by one of the game’s major story encounters. How to Get the Unyielding Hero Plate Armor

The chest armor is awarded for defeating Cassius Morten during the Traitor quest in Chapter 6.

To unlock this encounter, complete the following main quests:

  • Blazing Beacon
  • Below Banners
  • Turning Tides

Afterward, The Unyielding Shields questline becomes available. Progress through its opening subquest, A Thousand Troops, to unlock Traitor, where you’ll face Cassius Morten.

Defeating him rewards both the Unyielding Hero Plate Armor and the Shield of Betrayal.

How to Get the Unyielding Hero Plate Helm

Once Cassius Morten has been defeated, the helmet becomes available for purchase.

Visit Thrak, the Back Alley merchant in Calphade, located northwest of Hernand. The shop can be found south of the Church of Calphade.

The helmet costs 16.84 Silver.

How to Get the Unyielding Hero Plate Gloves

The gloves are earned by completing the Into the Barrage battle challenge.

To begin, interact with the required Sealed Abyss Artifact, located east of Deep Fog Basin, north of the first “N” in the Hernand map label.

The objective is simple:

  • Defeat five enemies simultaneously using a cannon.

Several opportunities exist throughout the game:

  • During the Chapter 8 quest Rebel Suppression at Thornbriar Fortress.
  • During the Balthazar, the Wyvernflame faction quest near Fort Windridge.

If you’ve already completed those quests, a reliable alternative is the Royal Trading Post in Demeniss. The western training ground occasionally spawns a usable cannon whenever the area reloads. Equip a mask, operate the cannon, and eliminate five soldiers with a single shot to complete the challenge.

How to Get the Unyielding Hero Plate Cloak

The cloak is awarded for completing the Hunter’s Discipline hunting challenge.

The associated Sealed Abyss Artifact is located near Tashkalp, at the crossroads north of the first “A” shown on the map.

The challenge requires you to:

  • Defeat three hyenas
  • Move less than 20 meters while doing so

A large hyena pack roams just northwest of the artifact location across the river, making it one of the easiest places to complete the objective.

Since there is no time limit, ranged weapons such as bows or firearms make this challenge much more manageable.

How to Get the Unyielding Hero Plate Boots

The boots come from completing The Vanished Wagon challenge.

Start the challenge by activating the Sealed Abyss Artifact located north of the Calphade Beacon.

Your objective is to:

  • Steal and sell three wagons to a wagon fence.

Wagons can be taken from NPCs traveling along roads and delivered to one of three wagon fences located at:

  • East of the Howling Hill camp in Hernand
  • West of Demeniss
  • Southeast of Tashkalp

After selling three wagons, you’ll receive the boots.
