Celestial Sigils are special consumable items in Palworld that allow players to summon the Moon Lord raid boss. Similar to raid boss Slabs, Celestial Sigils are consumed when used, but instead of collecting fragments, they’re crafted using Hallowed Bars found in the Sealed Realm of Terraria dungeon.

Here’s how to unlock the recipe, craft Celestial Sigils, and use them to challenge one of the game’s toughest bosses.

How to Get the Celestial Sigil Schematic

Before you can craft Celestial Sigils, you’ll need to obtain the Celestial Sigil Schematic.

The schematic can drop from the two treasure chests located near the exit portal at the end of the Sealed Realm of Terraria dungeon.

Once acquired, the schematic permanently unlocks the recipe at any:

  • Workbench
  • Production Assembly Line

As long as the schematic remains in your inventory.

The schematic isn’t a guaranteed drop, so you may need to clear the dungeon multiple times.

Farming the Schematic

If the recipe doesn’t drop on your first run:

  1. Exit the dungeon.
  2. Wait approximately three minutes.
  3. Re-enter the dungeon.
  4. Rush to the final room and open the two reward chests again.

Repeating this process is the fastest way to farm the schematic.

How to Craft Celestial Sigils

After unlocking the recipe, you can craft Celestial Sigils using Hallowed Bars.

Crafting Requirements

Material Amount Hallowed Bars 100

Hallowed Bars can be obtained throughout the Sealed Realm of Terraria dungeon.

Sources include:

  • Defeating monsters and Pals
  • Mining the yellow walls in the underground section
  • Opening treasure chests in optional side areas

Because each Celestial Sigil requires 100 Hallowed Bars, expect to complete multiple dungeon runs before crafting several of them.

How to Get Master Celestial Sigils

Master Celestial Sigils are earned by defeating the Moon Lord raid boss.

This works similarly to other Palworld raid bosses that reward upgraded summoning items for more difficult encounters.

Like the standard version, Master Celestial Sigils are used at Summoning Altars to challenge the Moon Lord.

How to Use Celestial Sigils

Take a Celestial Sigil to a Summoning Altar to summon the Moon Lord raid boss.

You can choose to battle the boss in one of two locations:

Battle Location Advantage Your Base Lets you use existing structures during the fight Dedicated Raid Arena Provides a larger battlefield with more room to maneuver

As long as you have additional Celestial Sigils, you can continue summoning the Moon Lord.

Tips for Defeating the Moon Lord

The Moon Lord has no elemental weakness, so building your team around raw damage output is the most effective strategy.

During the encounter, you can summon up to 15 Pals to assist you in battle.

To improve your chances of victory:

  • Bring your strongest damage-dealing Pals.
  • Condense your Pals to increase their stats.
  • Upgrade Partner Skills through condensation before attempting the raid.

A stronger team will make repeated Moon Lord runs much more manageable, especially if you’re farming Master Celestial Sigils or the boss’s exclusive rewards.
