GNOG: 100% Achievement Guide

GNOG is a tactile puzzle game with 20 achievements. This guide will help you get all of them.

– Estimated achievement difficulty: 1/10
– Offline Achievements: 20 (All)
– Approximate amount of time to 100%: 3 hours
– Minimum number of playthroughs needed: 1 + level select cleanup
– Missable achievements: None

My recommendation is to play through the game normally first. Once you’ve completed the game you can use level select to unlock the remaining achievements.

Completing the game will unlock the following achievements:

The Aquatic Life Discover what lurks below

On the SUB-01 level, spin the diver wheel as far down as you can. You’ll see the creature in the achievement picture on the monitor and it should pop.

Virtuoso Experiment in the studio

On the PURP-L level, once you’ve opened the back you need to interact with every object on the level, including the green and white pillars next to the DJ. There are two wheels on the front, and ten things to interact with on the back. Screenshots below:

Worm Hunter Leave no worm behind

On the LOG level, you have to catch all five worms. It’s possible to end the level before doing this by only catching the three necessary worms and having the birds sing, so I would recommend not making any of the birds sing until the achievement has popped.

This achievement also took two identical tries to pop for me, so it’s possibly that it’s buggy and may require multiple attempts.

Class Clown Daydream at the blackboard

On the LAB-O level, you need to continually spin the blackboard in the bottom right for about 5-10 seconds.

Chocolate Cheater Watch what you eat

On the CANDY level, you need to solve the chocolate puzzle without pressing any wrong buttons. The solution is located on the back wall of the candy shop. Screenshot below:

Acclaimed Chef Keep the kitchen clean

On the EATER level, make the recipe correctly the first time you try to cook. The necessary steps are:

  • Use both spices containers above the pot and pan once.
  • Add 3 berries to the left pan
  • Add 5 berries to the right pot
  • Set the temperature to 50%
  • Set the time to the value seenbelow:
Ghost Leave no trace

You need to complete the HOM-3 level without the thief being spotted. The solutions to do this are:

  • 4th (Top) Floor – Spin the chandelier and point the lamp down.
  • 3rd Floor – Go to the basement and turn the power off and the water on. Go back to the fourth floor and pull the curtain, start the shower, and close the curtain.
  • 2nd Floor – Go to the basement and turn the power on and the water off, and solve the floor normally. It’s important not to come back to this floor later when the power is off, as the person will be awake again.
  • 1st Floor – Go back to the basement and turn the power off. The person on this floor should be asleep now. Do not open the fridge if the power is still on.

If the thief does get spotted they will react, indicating that you’ll need to restart the level.

Frog Frustrater Please don’t bother the amphibians

On the FRG-Y level, you need to repeatedly click the smaller frog until the achievement pops. It took roughly 12 clicks for me.

Strong Stomach Test the astronaut for space sickness

On the VORT-X level, once the astronaut is inside the repair arm you need to continually spin him until the achievement pops. It took 7 rotations for me.
