The Restaurant is one of the more layered maps in Bring Back The Sun on Roblox. There’s a solid chain of item trading right at the start, a multi-digit code puzzle that requires you to find a hidden clue, a color panel sequence, and then a five-item recipe that has to be added in a very specific order.

It’s not the hardest map in the game, but that recipe order at the end trips up a lot of players — including me the first time through.

I’ve laid out every step below so you can get through it cleanly without having to restart the recipe midway.

Full Walkthrough: Bring Back The Sun! THE RESTAURANT

Step 1: Light the Four Candles

When you spawn in, the first thing you need to do is light the four candles placed around the restaurant. To do that you’ll need the lighter, which is hiding behind the large poster or picture hanging on the wall nearby.

Grab the lighter and use it on all four candles. Once all four are lit, a spear will appear as your reward.

Step 2: Trade the Spear for Pizza

Take the spear over to the skull character sitting in the restaurant. Trade the spear with him and he’ll hand you a slice of pizza in return.

Step 3: Give the Pizza to the Spider

Bring the slice of pizza to the spider — near the start of the map. Give it the pizza and the spider will hand you a golden coin.

Step 4: Find the Second Coin Under the Doormat

Take your golden coin to the mouse, but he’ll tell you he needs two coins, not one. The second coin is hiding under the doormat near the door.

Pick it up and now hand both coins to the mouse together. In exchange, he gives you a potion.

Step 5: Drink the Potion and Break the Door

Drink the potion. It makes you extremely strong, which means you can now physically break open the locked door that was blocking you before.

Smash through it.

Step 6: Read the Book to Get the Recipe

Behind the broken door, look for a book (hidden under the plant vase). Pick it up and read it — it gives you the recipe for the map’s main puzzle.

You need five items, and they need to be added in a specific order. Here’s the exact order straight from the book:

Ancient Powder → Blue Flower → Carton of Milk → Blue Salt → Old Piece of Cake

Keep this order in mind. If you add them in the wrong sequence, the potion turns red and you’ll have to restart the recipe from scratch. It does give all the items back to you though, so don’t panic if it happens.

Step 7: Collect the Blue Flower and Carton of Milk

Two of the five items are easy to grab right away.

The blue flower is sitting right there in the same room, in a corner—it’s hard to miss. And the carton of milk is on one of the tables nearby.

That’s items two and three sorted early.

Step 8: Make the Acidic Tomato Juice for the Blue Salt

The blue salt is locked away behind a cover and you need to make something to get it open. Look around for tomatoes — there are four of them scattered nearby. Collect all four.

Take the four tomatoes and put them into the mixer (in the previous room), then turn it on. Wait for it to process and it will produce an acidic tomato juice. Pour the juice onto the locked cover (next to the book), and it dissolves, revealing the blue salt underneath.

That’s item four done.

Step 9: Grab the Old Piece of Cake

The old piece of cake was sitting on one of the tables from the very beginning — it’s easy to walk past it without noticing. Head back to the tables and collect it.

That’s four out of five items. The only one left is the ancient powder, which is the trickiest to get.

Step 10: Find the Code with the Wrench

To unlock the ancient powder, you first need a four-digit code. Go and collect the wrench from the tables and use it on a specific panel or pipe fitting (near the merchant mouse).

Inside there is a poster that reveals the first three digits of the code: 157.

But you still need that fourth digit. Look around for a small piece of paper on the wall — it says the last cable needed is pink. This tells you that the fourth digit corresponds to the pink color on the cable panel.

Step 11: Figure Out the Full Code

Now head over to the lock on the door. Each cable color corresponds to a number:

Blue cable = 1, Orange cable = 5, Green cable = 7, Pink cable = 3.

Put that all together and the full code is 1573.

Step 12: Enter 1573 and Solve the Color Panel

Go to the keypad and enter 1573. The door opens up, but there’s one more mini-puzzle before you can grab the ancient powder.

Next to the door that we just opened, you’ll see a color panel with four colors to match. The exact color and position of the panels that you need to change and make a pattern is based on the potion bottles on the shelf inside the room.

Here is the solution:

Once all four are correct, the panel inside the room unlocks, and the ancient powder is yours. (It’s hidden behind one of the bookshelves.)

That’s all five items collected.

Step 13: Add the Items in the Correct Recipe Order

This is the most important step in the whole map. Go to the recipe station and add the items in this exact order:

First, add the ancient powder. Then add the blue flower. Then the carton of milk. Then the blue salt. And finally the old piece of cake.

If you follow that sequence exactly, the recipe completes successfully and the map is done.

If you add anything in the wrong order the potion goes red — just wait for all five items to return to you automatically and try again from the top.

Tips for The Restaurant

Write down the recipe order before you start collecting items. The book gives you the sequence but it’s easy to forget it by the time you’ve gathered everything. The order is: Ancient Powder → Blue Flower → Carton of Milk → Blue Salt → Old Piece of Cake.

Don’t forget to check the piece of paper on the wall for the pink cable clue before entering the code. The wrench only gives you the first three digits — a lot of players get stuck here assuming the code is only three digits long.

The acidic tomato juice step requires all four tomatoes, not just one or two. Make sure you’ve picked up every tomato before going to the mixer.

If the recipe turns red, don’t stress — your items come straight back. Just reset and add them in the correct order from the beginning.
