Some escape rooms, like Broken Clocks, will definitely test your brainpower. However, one of the easier maps at Broken Clocks [Escape Room] is the MODERN CLOCK.

As a beginner, you might find it a bit challenging to understand, so here are detailed guidelines to help you navigate through these challenges effectively.

Room 1

This task is quite straightforward. There are three colored statues: black, brown, grey, and white.

Each statue has its own designated platform, so approach them and push them towards the direction of their platforms. You will find all the platforms located at the corners of the area.

On one separate platform, you will notice a single statue. After placing all the statues in their correct positions, the white sphere will appear in the hands of that single statue.

Collect the sphere and return to the gate you entered to head back to the main area. Finally, place the sphere at the centre to unlock the next room.

Room 2

You will enter a forest, where your first task is to collect five papers. First, look behind a tree near the edges for two papers.

Next, find one paper underneath a rock, another hidden in a bush, and the last one at the very top of a tree that you must climb to reach.

Once you have gathered all the papers, return to the exit door. There, you will find a board. Place all the papers on the board, and watch as they gradually reveal a sentence.

The sentence reads, “In the end, even the stars chose destruction over life.

After that, click on the message icon or enter this sentence in the chat box, and a sphere will appear. Collect the sphere and return to the main area, placing it in the centre.

Room 3

First, check the poster. In the corner, you will see a message that says, “Thank you for following the rules!” in different colours.

Note down these colours: red, pink, green, yellow, blue, and orange. Next, locate the electrical box and open it. You need to connect the wires, following the order based on the colours you noted earlier.

Once done correctly, the vault door will swing open. Step inside, and you’ll discover a pile of money. However, atop this pile lies a whiteboard.

Click on it to reveal a puzzle underneath, a number puzzle. There are hints indicating that some numbers are correct and others are correct but in the wrong spots.

If you can solve the puzzle, you’ll uncover the number 275.

This number corresponds to locker number 15, as mentioned on the poster. Find that locker, enter the code, and when it opens, you will find a white sphere.

Collect it and return to the main area to proceed as usual.

Room 4

To begin, we should treat each letter of the alphabet as a corresponding number: A is 1, B is 2, and Z is 26. Next, turn on the TV; you’ll notice it rapidly displaying numerous numbers.

Among these, you’ll see: 20, 9, 13, 5, 9, 19, 20, 8, 5, 15, 14, 12, 25, 3, 21, 18, 18, 5, 14, 3, 25, 25, 15, 21, 19, 16, 5, 14, 4, 23, 9, 20, 8, 15, 21, 20, 11, 14, 15, 23, 9, 14, 7, 20, 8, 5, 2, 1, 12, 1, 14, 3, 5.

Start writing them down and convert each number into its corresponding letter.

You’ll uncover the sentence: “Time is the only currency you spend without knowing the balance.”

Finally, copy this sentence into the chat box or message icon, and you will receive the sphere. Collect it and place it in the centre.

Room 5

On the table, you’ll find a variety of bingo cards; among them, a few cards have highlighted numbers encircled in vibrant colours.

Take note of these important numbers: 7, 28, 40, 56, and 71. Next, head back to the main board and press these numbers.

Doing so will unlock a sphere hidden within one of the crates. Once you’ve retrieved it, exit the area and place the sphere in the middle.

Room 6

To complete the task, head over to the cafe and form a sentence using specific words from the menu.

There are eight items listed, each accompanied by a clue that hints at where to find the necessary words. Check those locations to discover the underlined words, and write them down in the correct order.

By doing this, you will create the sentence: “Forever is a dangerous word. How can a mortal offer eternity?”

Finally, type this sentence into the chat box or message icon to receive your sphere ball for the journey back!

Room 7

Take a look at the poster! These are shapes of constellations. First, find the blinking star. Once you spot it, notice how certain blinking stars form constellation figures.

All the constellations will be right next to each other, so it’s your job to determine where each constellation begins.

Now, observe carefully to identify the shapes, then check which constellation number matches.

You will find a total of five constellations from left to right: if you do this correctly, you will see the constellations are 6, 4, 5, 9, and 2.

Click the basket to enter the code, and then you will receive a sphere in the picnic basket to take with you!

Room 8

Go behind the house, and you will spot a poster that explains how to decode the message.

It inverses the positions of the alphabet: A means Z, B means Y, and so forth. Keep this pattern in mind as you proceed.

Enter the house, and on the wall, you’ll notice red writing that says, “UREV MRMV ULFI VRTSG.” Applying the decoding logic, you’ll discover the words “FIVE NINE FOUR EIGHT,” which is your code.

Next, head to another room where a door is secured with chains and a lock. Input the code 5948 to unlock the door, revealing the sphere inside. Collect it and return to the main area.

Room 9

First, locate the giant cube in the corner of the room, which displays numbers on each side. These numbers indicate the sequence of colours, while their positions guide you on which tile to press.

Start by noting the order: Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Red.

Next, look down at the floor where you’ll find tiles in these same colours. You must step on the correct tiles in the specified order.

Begin with the Orange zone and carefully step on each tile until you identify the right one. Then, proceed to the Yellow tile.

Once you have completed the sequence, you will receive the sphere ball. Collect it and return to the main area.

Room 10

This one is easy too! Once you enter, you’ll see a clipboard indicating that there are five tickets hidden around the game zone.

Now, start searching for those five tickets. They are placed in several gaming machines. When you find a ticket in a machine, you’ll notice a jumbled word written on it.

By solving the jumbled word, you’ll uncover some numbers.

For example, the first ticket is hidden in a ball-throwing hoop machine, where you’ll see the word “VSENE” on the machine.

If you solve it, you’ll find it says “SEVEN.” So, the first ticket gives you the number 7.

Similarly, continue searching for the other tickets to discover more numbers, ultimately leading you to the code 73504.

After gathering all the numbers, head to the reception area where the top prize, a sphere ball, is displayed.

Simply tap on it to unlock, enter the code, and collect your prize to take it back to the main area.

Room 11

It’s not difficult; however, it involves a three-step process. First, enter the store and head behind the cash register.

Open the drawer underneath until you find two sheets labelled as the gas pump repair log. Here, the pump number is crucial, not the date. So, write down all the pump numbers in the order listed.

Next, step outside to find a total of 12 pumps. Each pump has a unique number and mark displayed on it.

Carefully note down the number and mark according to the sequence of the pump numbers from the logs. Once you have collected all the numbers, return to the store.

Inside, you’ll see a green chart featuring a table that explains the combination of each number and mark, which typically corresponds to letters of the alphabet.

After deciphering all the pairs, you’ll generate several letters.

Finally, as you form words and sentences, you’ll uncover the phrase: “Ignore your eyes, believe our lies.” Write that down in the chat box or message icon to receive the sphere ball.

Room 12

To complete the task, you need to enter all 12 rooms and press the red button in each one. The room numbers correspond to the clock, which shows the time from 1 to 12.

You can only enter the next room after pressing the button in the current one.

First Room: Look at the corner of the floor to find the button.

Second Room: Check the top of the door.

Third Room: On the desk near the bed, underneath the monitor, there’s a button.

Fourth Room: Open the left side of the cabinet to discover the button inside.

Fifth Room: The monitor near the bed serves as the button.

Sixth Room: Find the button in the top left corner of the giant poster beside the door.

Seventh Room: Click on the right purple poster; it will slide to reveal the button.

Eighth Room: The giant poster instructs you to look out of the window. Jump through, and you’ll find the button on the wall.

Ninth Room: Look under the blue chair; that’s where the button is.

Tenth Room: The button hides inside the dustbin or trash can; click to open it.

Eleventh Room: Find the poster that says “walk in.” Walk through it, and you’ll enter a secret room with a button inside.

Twelfth Room: The poster indicates “up,” suggesting the button is in the ceiling. Go to the corner of the room and angle yourself correctly to see the red button at the ceiling’s edge.

Once you are done pressing all the button you will get the sphere ball, take it back to the main area and put it in the middle. And hence you completed the room
