What You Will Need in the Dungeon

You will collect these important items in order:

  • Pickaxe
  • Key (from candle puzzle)
  • Key (from vase)
  • Shovel and Map
  • Switch (hidden in dirt)
  • Exit Key (from chest)

Unlike the complex challenges in our Roblox Terminal [Escape Room] SEASON 2 CHAPTER 1 (Part 1) Walkthrough, this map follows a very linear progression of items. Once you have these tools in mind, follow the steps below to break out.

Step 1: Pick Up the Pickaxe and Break the Wall

At the start, you are inside a stone prison. Look around the ground near the entrance and pick up the Pickaxe. Walk to the weak stone wall in front of you and hit it with the pickaxe. The wall will break, opening a new path. Go through it to reach the next area.

Step 2: Solve the Candle and Button Puzzle

You will now see buttons on the floor and candles on the wall. Watch the candles carefully. They light up in this exact order: 1st, 5th, 3rd, 6th, 4th, 2nd.

Press the buttons in the same order: 1 → 5 → 3 → 6 → 4 → 2. When you finish, a key will appear on the floor. Pick it up and use it to open the jail cell door in front of you. Walk through the door.

Step 3: Match the Cabinet Pattern

On the wall you will see a 3×3 pattern; clicking on it changes colour. You need to find the correct pattern to solve this puzzle and move ahead.

The correct pattern is based on the open cabinets placed in two of the jail cells. In one of the cells you will see 2 cabinets open, and in another you will see 3 cabinets open. Based on the position of the open cabinets, repeat the pattern on the wall. (You can also check the screenshot below for the solution.)

Once the wall is gone, move ahead, and you will find a key under the table which has a vase on it. Collect the key, and you can enter the guardroom which is right there.

Step 4: Solve the Color Puzzle By Remembering the Colored Plates Pattern

You will reach a cabinet with coloured plates and a nearby sword clue. If you go back to the jail cells area, you will see each cell has a coloured plate.

Remember the sword symbols; they tell you which direction to follow, basically which is the left side and which is the right side.

Now, look at the coloured plates on the jail cell walls:

  • Left wall: Blue, Pink, Yellow
  • Right wall: Red, Orange, Green

Press the colors on the cabinet in this order: Blue → Pink → Yellow → Red → Orange → Green. The cabinet will open, revealing a shovel and a map. Take both items.

Step 5: Use the Map and Shovel to Dig

Open your map. It shows you must dig in the middle cell on the right side. Go to that cell, stand on the dirt floor, and use the shovel. Keep digging until you find a switch buried in the ground. Press the switch to activate it.

Step 6: Fix the Sphere Height Puzzle

After pressing the switch, you will see spheres of different heights (near the exit door). Arrange or press them from the lowest sphere to the highest sphere.

If you go back to the room with the map or the coloured plates, you can see 5 spears arranged in different height positions. You have to replicate this height pattern on the stone to solve this puzzle.

When you get the order right, another jail cell will unlock. Go inside the new area.

Step 7: Open the Chest with Code 477

You will find a chest that needs a 3-digit code. Based on the poster in the same jail cells, it tell you that must count three things across the whole map:

  • Pillows = 4 in total → first number is 4
  • Bread (count full loaves and half loaves) = 7 in total → second number is 7
  • Vases = 7 in total → third number is 7

Enter the code 477 on the chest. It will open and give you the exit key.

Step 8: Use the Exit Key and Escape

Take the exit key and walk to the big door at the far end of the Dungeon. Use the key to unlock it. Go up the stairs, and you will escape the castle. You are free!

Pro Tips for Easy Escape

  • Always look at the map before you dig. It saves a lot of time.
  • Count bread and vases slowly. Half pieces still count as half.
  • The sword always points the correct way for the color order.
  • Do not rush the button or sphere puzzles. One wrong press and you may have to start again.
  • If something does not work, double-check the pattern or count one more time.
