In the recent Genshin Impact 2.1 update, fishing rods and the fishing feature was introduced. At the moment, there are only 4 fishing rods in Genshin Impact. Regions in Teyvat have Fishing Associations that sell a particular and unique rod.

Wilderness Fishing Rod

Learn more about Fishing & its locations here. This quest tells you about the fishing system and gives this rod for free.
This rod does not have any buffs or unique benefits. So, consider this rod as a stepping stone towards the other fishing rods in Genshin Impact.
The Windtangler – One Of the Good-looking Fishing Rods In Genshin Impact

The Wishmaker

Upcoming Fishing Rods In Genshin Impact
Currently, there are 4 rods in the game. But, we can be sure that the number of rods will increase in further updates. For now, we know that the Moonstringer rod will come in Genshin Impact 2.1. The upcoming event, Lunar Realm will come with the Moonstringer rod and Primogems.
