The Fortnite Port-A-Fort is back! The Port-A-Fort was first introduced to us back in Season 3, the season of space exploration and the mysterious comet in the sky. The Port-A-Fort is a rare throwable item that pops up a metal structure. It is occasionally unvaulted in regular Battle Royale matches such as the v21.20 update for Chapter 3 Season 3. Where to Find and How to Use the Port-A-Fort

Players can find the Port-A-Fort as floor loot, in regular and Rare Chests, and in Supply Drops. They can be carried in the inventory in stacks of 5.

To use the Port-A-Fort, players must aim to position the structure before throwing. The fort will replace any structure it comes in contact with. Players can also throw it at their feet for instant protection from opponents.

The Port-A-Fort consists of a metal tower, with a door and slanted top for easy sniping. The entrance at the bottom has tyres so players can easily bounce up to the top. To protect from opponents coming into the tower from below it is recommended that players place a floor and roof above the hole once inside.

The Port-A-Fort is great for gaining height as well as protection. Players can build upon it to increase height even further, but beware- the structure is not indestructible and can be destroyed by an opponent, causing fall damage to whoever is inside.
