Surprise Attack has released tough action puzzler Hexxy Snake on iOS.

We gave you a heads-up about this one last week, remember? It's similar to the pixel-chasing play of classic Snake but, arguably, a bit harder and with pretty pictures.

Across its 100 levels, you have to guide your snake through a hexagonal grid to eat the glowing hexagons.

However, you have to avoid the large, solid image that sprawls across the grid. It might be a dinosaur, a unicorn, or a sailing boat - there are many variations.

This means having to squeeze your snake through tight corridors, and around odd shapes. Add optional pulsing levels and you've got a flashing electro update of Snake.
