Updated on March 27th, at 8:10: Little Big Adventure is now out on iOS, and is available on Android, too. You can get it on Google Play for £2.99 / $3.99. The attic-raiding retro porters at DotEmu will deliver 1994's Little Big Adventure kicking and screaming onto iPhone and iPad at midnight tonight. That'll be followed by an Android version sometime tomorrow.

In this isometric game, you play as Twinsen, who has been locked in a mental asylum for having prophetic dreams about the destruction of his home planet.

You'll have to break out, solve puzzles, talk to characters, and maybe beat up enemies? I don't know - I never played this one when it came out on PC and PSone two decades ago.

This new iOS version should be a largely faithful port (I wouldn't know), with some sections adapted and simplified for touch controls; new tutorials and hints; automatic saving; and zoom functionality.

Little Big Adventure will be out at midnight on iOS in the UK and US, and will set you back £2.49 / $3.99.
