We all know that Skyrim is coming to the Nintendo Switch but at today's E3 Bethesda conference there was a bit of surprising news which did make me laugh out loud, I admit.

Upon showing off the first gameplay/trailer of the Switch version, someone then grabs a Link amiibo, touches it to the bit on the right Joy-Con, and then BAM, Legend of Zelda gear lands in-game.

Obviously, the normal footage looks awesome too, but if you can slay an Ice Giant with the Master Sword that'll just put the cherry on top of an already-delicious cake.

Though there's not release date just yet, we should be getting the game sometime later this autumn.
