Nicalis teased it a little while ago but now we can stop guessing. Yes, VVVVVV is coming to the Nintendo Switch.

VVVVVV is a gravity-reversing platformer where you'll be switching up physics rather than doing the usual 'jump to get over an obstacle' thing. You play as the pixellated Captain Viridian as you quest to find your friends, bring them home, and save the world while you're at it.

What gamers love so much about this game in particular is that there's nothing standing in the way of you and progression but your own skill and ability. It's minimal but effective, challening but not impossible, and complete with chiptune music, lots of checkpoints, 60 FPS, and generally fast, fun gameplay.

VVVVVV will be available on the Switch's eShop November 17th for $9.99.
