The organisers of Gaming Paradise are faced with yet another issue. At the last minute, both, the Norwegian and Ukranian, teams have decided to withdraw from the event. Both teams have posted official statements regarding this situation, saying that both of them want to fully commit to DreamHack Cluj-Napoca qualifier, which is being held during this weekend, same as the Gaming Paradise event.

In their official statement Copenhagen Wolves said the following:

“After much deliberation and dicussions both internally, with partners, and the representatives of Gaming Paradise, we are sad to announce that our Counter-Strike team won't be attending the event this weekend. We do not want to disappoint our fans in the upcoming major, and as a fairly new team, we feel that we should focus on practicing, rather than attend Gaming Paradise.

We want to say sorry to all the fans who were excited to see us play, and a big thank you to the staff of Gaming Paradise for their invitation and the hospitality they have shown us. We wish the teams competing at Gaming Paradise the best of luck, and we will see you at DreamHack London!”

While, HellRaisers organisation said:

This situation has left the Gaming Paradise organisers with only six participating teams and they had to look for some last minute replacements. However, they still managed to find two teams that will be replacing CPH Wolves and HellRaisers. A local team, MiA and the Serbian team Saloon will be coming to the Slovenian event to fight for their slice of the $50,000 prize pool.
