Oceania will not be represented in this year’s TWC, as region’s team slot forfeited due to scheduling issues.

It has been announced that the Oceanic region will not be represented in TWC this year, which will be taking place from October 8th – 11th in Belgrade, Serbia. The Australian teams that were supposed to represent the region will be instead participating at the Crown’s Invitational, that will be held in Melbourne, Australia at the Crown Casino and Entertainment Complex featuring a 55,555 AUD ($39,000) prize pool.

E-frag.net’s rules state that a region must be represented by no more than 3 players from a single team. The situation is such that only four players out of fourteen on the Australian roster are from different teams than Renegades and Immunity, and because of this the team’s slot at TWC 2015 has been forfeited by the organisation.

In light of this the second group stage of  the TWC Asian qualifier has been cancelled and all four teams will automatically qualify for the finals in Belgrade. There are still eight teams yet to have qualified from Europe, that will be filling the last spots for the tournament.
