Just weeks before the event, DreamHack have unveiled who will be fighting against who to advance to the playoffs of the next CS:GO major.
Each group consists of two legendary teams, who have automatically qualified by being in the playoffs of ESL One Cologne, and two “challengers”, who have qualified trough the offline event, DH Open Stockholm.
With the best two teams advancing, the group stages will run from October 28 to 30, thus taking the first three days of the event set in Romania. Except for the decider matches there will only be best-of-one-matches played out, with a new and rather unusual vetoing system. The first team will vote thrice, the second one twice, then a map will randomly be chosen out of the remaining two and the second team will get to choose the side to play on first.
