ESL has unveiled plans to host a €15,000 national tournament exclusively for the Nordic region.
ESL's latest event, the Nordic Nationals, is set to begin later this month with the preliminary qualifiers beginning next week. Teams with the majority of their roster in Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway or Sweden will be able to compete, with a seperate qualifier set aside for each country.
After clearing the qualifiers, teams will move on the group stage in order to fight for a spot at the offline playoffs in groups of four. Only eight teams will make it to the main event, where the full €15,000 will up for grabs.
