The first match of group B featured Team SoloMid demolishing FlipSid3 Tactics with a very convincing 16-6 win.?

As one of the favourites coming to this tournament, Team SoloMid had their first match in group B against FlipSid3 Tactics, a team which qualified through the DreamHack Stockholm qualifier.
The match was opened by a very chaotic pistol round which went back and forth for both teams, where in the end TSM came out on top of it securing it for their T side. FlipSid3 needed ten rounds in order to get themselves up on the board with their first round win at 1-9. This match seemed to be a very one-sided, therefore the half time score didn't show anything otherwise, 13-2 for TSM.
The second half continued in the same fashion by TSM, where they quickly took two more rounds for 15-2. But, in a nail biting finisher, FlipSid3 managed to win a round and to get back into this match with four consecutive rounds. Unfortunately for their fans, they couldn't fight any further for a potential comeback and TSM closed this match out with 16-6.
