ESL recently announced that the Swedish team will be substituted by G2 at IEM San Jose.
Today news came out that Ninjas in Pyjamas will not be participating at the upcoming IEM San Jose, that will be taking place on November 21st-22nd. NiP’s CEO Per Lilliefelth said the decision was made due to players going through a long period of playing and travelling. Instead of flying to the USA, the Ninjas will be preparing for other upcoming events.
Gamers2 have decided to fill in the shoes of the Swedes. The decision was made after G2 announced they will be passing on the CEVO Season 8 finals, due to travel issues. In recent times they have been putting on quite the performance, with their advancement to the semi-finals of Dreamhack Cluj-Napoca. It will no doubt be interesting to see what they have in hand for this event.
