The best match so far in this tournament was seen in the first semi final duel between Team EnVyUs and G2 Esports, where the French team has managed to come on the top of it with the score of 2-1.

The first semi final match between Team EnVyUs and G2 Esports was opened on de_dust2, which was G2's pick. The French team opted to start on the CT side, where they are regarded as one of the best. However, the European mix opened up with a very quick pistol round and they managed to caught the French players off guard which provided them a quick 1-0. But, Team EnVyUs, the masters of force buys, have proved once again that they have no problems playing with limited arsenal, as they quickly responded with the next round evening it up to 1-1.  Team EnVyUs was the first to make the next lead with 1-3. However, G2 Esports players didn't give up and with the first next full buy they stricked back and managed to retake the control of this match. Led by the most recent addition, Joakim "jkaem" Myrbostad who was topping the scoreboard, G2 Esports had a very good time on their T side. In the end, that big advantage melted down as Team EnVyUs managed to close the gap to 7-8. But, the second half brought even more aggresive gameplay by the European mix. Jkaem decided to go up middle and push in the pistol round which brought him two fast headshots before he got shut down. By that time, G2 Esports already had a huge lead and it was easy to close that pistol round with a win. From this moment on, Mikail "Maikelele" Bill and co. were just maintaining their lead and closing each round before Team EnVyUs even started their executions. It turned out that this fast paced game was the key for this victory as the French team was looking clueless, and they really had no answer to this type of gameplay provided by G2 Esports. The Final score was 16-10.

The match now moved on to the second map which was de_inferno. Team EnVyUs is known as arguably the best team on this map in the world. But, G2 Esports have earned everyone's respect by performing excellent throughout this whole tournament. On the wings of the great atmosphere and hype from the first map, G2 has opened the second map in the same fashion. Getting a clean pistol round and two rounds which followed for a fast 3-0. However, Team EnVyUs finally woken up, started steam-rolling through this map with seven consecutive rounds. G2 Esports were forced to eco every two rounds, which made it very difficult for the European mix to achieve any decent result in the first half of this map. However, the second half brought another great pistol round for G2 Esports and it was looking like they will quickly close the gap of three rounds which was infront of them coming to this second half. But, the masters of pistols, Team EnVyUs, showed once again their supremacy with those handy mini guns and took the next round in their favor. G2 had to eco and regain back their economy before they started working on the score. Finally, we had G2 Esports with the lead of 13-12 and Team EnVyUs with some semi buy which was indicating that if G2 wins this round, the French team would need to eco in the next one. But, the French superstars prevailed and they took the lead of 15-13, but due to their bad economy G2 Esports managed to prolongue this match into the overtime. The overtime was a story for itself, a triple overtime and never-ending action. Both teams were close to taking away this map and in the end it looked like G2 will close it out after their perfect 3-0 on CT side, but Team EnVyUs managed to hold their grounds once again and to make a mini comeback for the final 25-21.

The last map of this epic trilogy was de_cache, where Team EnVyUs had a slight advantage starting on the CT side. G2 Esports proved once again that they are a real masters of the pistol rounds. Team EnVyUs got a really hard hit and they were down to 0-1, however, for the 10th time, the French team got themselves back into the map by winning the follow up round by using only pistols. The faces of G2 Esports players were looking really frustrated, as they know what a big momentum they have lost by giving this round away to the French team. However, the map was now totally openened for the French force and they were more than happy to take it with the both hands. The score was up to 5-1 and G2 were struggling to get them up on the board. At a 10-4 score line we saw Håvard "rain" Nygaard in the 1vs5 situation where everyone thought that the score will be 11-4, but the G2 player showed once again what a vast talent he has, by eliminating opponents one after another and winning this insane round. The second half was opened by another pistol round taken by G2 Esports, but guess what? Team EnVyUs stricked back with another round after and just completely shut down the European mix. G2 players didn't give up as they were forcing and trying something with Desert Eagles and CZ-75s. They were close to cause some upset in these rounds, but finally it wasn't enough for them to upset Team EnVyUs and prevent them from reaching the finals. The final score was 16-7.
