SoStronk's King of the Hill Asia is back with the second edition and increased prize pool.
After a very successful first edition of their King of the Hill, SoStronk has just announced the second edition of this tournament. Moreover, the prize pool has been boosted for additional $3,000, with format also slightly changed.
The second edition of SoStronk's KOTH will give a chance to less known Asian teams as they will have a chance to battle in the open pre-qualifier which also awards the winner with $1,000. The top four teams from open pre-qualifier will then move on to the main qualifier which will also feature three teams coming from the previous edition of KOTH, Team nxl, MVP.karnal, Puzzle. Finally, the last team will be CyberZen who was directly invited.
The main qualifier will be played on December 3rd-6th and will feature a single elimination bracket. The top four teams will qualify for the main event. Moreover, the top two teams will receive prizes, $1,500 for the first and $500 for the second place.
Finally, the main tournament will be played on December 17th-20th and will feature four teams placed inside the double-elimination bracket. The winner of this bracket will challenge Secret, the first edition winners, for the throne and grand prize of $4,000.
