Valve developers have confirmed in a rare public statement that a large update will possibly include the new de_nuke is coming.

Rumors have been flying in the CS:GO community as to the possiblity of close release date for an overhauled de_nuke, a rumor that has been stirred into a frenzy in recent days as a clip of Cloud9's Mike "shroud" Grzesiek stating that the update would hit yesterday blew up on reddit. That claim has been debunked by Matt Wood, one of the lead developers on CS:GO at Valve's headquarters in Bellevue, Washington. In a response to a question about the speculation on Twitter, Wood stated that shroud's claim was unsubstantiated.

However, the developer also gave more information about an impending update on reddit, where Valve has been silent for over three months, which confirmed that in fact there are multiple major updates in the pipeline for the game, both of which seem to be scheduled to hit soon. No particular timeframe has been given, but we can hope that it will live before the new year.
