s1mple signs for Liquid 

Exciting roster moves were abound this week, the most interesting of which being Team Liquid's signing of one of the hottest stars in the world, Aleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev. Rumors about the possiblity of him joining a North American team had been spreading for months, and recently was seen playing PUGs with another Liquid player, Spencer "Hiko" Martin.

NiP adds pyth, THREAT

The Ninjas in Pyjamas announced their lineup for the 2016 season this week, keeping the remaining four Swedes and bringing on board Jacob "pyth" Mourujärvi to fill in Aleksei "allu" Jalli, whose contract expired just a few days ago. Additionally, NiP picked up a new coach, former Team Acer player Björn 'THREAT' Pers.

VG, LGD, EHOME to enter CS:GO

One of the biggest announcement over the past few days was that three of China's biggest esports organizations, Vici Gaming, EHOME, and LGD are now actively looking to sign their first CS:GO teams. Read a small snippet from LGD's full announcement:

“Europe and America's current CS: GO professional atmosphere is very strong. We believe that in the near future CS: GO in China will also become popular with fans of other games, and because of this, LGD has set up CS: GO Division. In expanding the field of club development, we hope to provide more opportunities for FPS gaming talent in the region, and look forward to China's CS: GO talent to achieve the same level of success here!”

Splyce signs new team

The North Americans organization has been without a team for a week, but Splyce.gg announced this week that they have secured the services of new team, Dogmen, which formerly played for the shortlived 3sUP CS:GO team. The team will be playing in the ESEA Professional league starting next season

Alternate back in CS:GO

The German organization announced this week that they have closed a deal with Killerfish eSports to transfer their roster off to theirs, now that it has been almost a year after parting ways with their previous lineup. Team captain Christian ‘crisby‘ Schmitt: had the following to say about the move:

“In the future we will be playing for Alternate aTTaX. They believe in our potential and will provide us with the support we need to get even better. Everybody of us is really happy to play for them and we can’t wait for the first challenges under their flag. Looking forward to a great collaboration on a long term.”
