The last European open qualifier act finished with London Conspiracy emerging victorious at the end of day two which grants them a  spot into the group B of the regional qualifiers.

Although many have placed Kaipi and Burden United as favorites for the finals, both teams failed to pass the quarterfinals stage. Pittner "bOne7" Armand and Sébastien "7ckingMad" Debs’s team lost the battle against No Logic Gaming while Alexandru "ComeWithMe" Craciunescu’s stack consisting of Dominik "Black^" Reitmeier, Jonas "jonassomfan" Lindholm and Turtoi "Ar1se" Ionut lost  in front of STARK eSports.

The semifinals went in favor of London Conspiracy and Power Rangers and so the best-of-three finals for the last available spot into the EU regional qualifiers were set.

GAME ONE

The opening game of the series had more of a reactive draft coming from LC who tried to counter PR’s Broodmother with an Axe pick and despite having Jon "13abyKnight" Andersen on Queen of Pain and a Lone Druid to balance the split push, PR lost all the lanes and got seriously outfarmed. It took only 24 minutes for Power Rangers to reach the high ground and then smash it to pieces.

GAME TWO

Second game of the finals was the exact opposite story, LC getting out from the drafting stage with a full push line-up. A perfectly executed laning phase allowed Beastmaster to rush Necro Book 3 and with Chen getting a fast Mekansm up, LC was ready to take PR’s base in only one push. At the 20 minute mark they already secured mega creeps and pushed the finals into a decisive game three.

GAME THREE

The last game of the series went in favor of LC from early to mid game due to their heavy damage draft but things started to change once PR’s Sven got his BKB online and was capable to turn around the team fights.

A few very good high ground defensive fights for PR brought them fully back into the game but once they started to become the aggressive ones they displayed a lack of coordination and communication and recklessly fed LC unnecessary kills.

It was a 40 minute game of back and forth exchanges, played mainly around the Roshan timer spawn but in the end it was London Conspiracy who secured the last Aegis and executed the Belarusian team.

The European regional qualifiers will kick off tomorrow, January 7th with the first game of group A, Na-Vi vs Team Spirit at 10:00 CET
