As the ESL One Manila LAN event draws closer, ESL are starting to plan for their next Dota2 event, ESL One Frankfurt.

The European open qualifier for the ESL One Frankfurt event in June has started taking registrations as of the 25th of March. Registered teams will be playing on the 2nd of April at 14:00 CEST in a single elimination bracket, the top three will receive a place in the main European qualifiers which will be taking place at a later date.

If the format for last year's Europe qualifiers is followed, the top three open qualifier teams will be placed in a best-of-three double elimination bracket with the teams invited to the main qualifier. In the bracket, the teams will battle until the top three teams are decided, they will be the ones to gain a spot in the ESL One Frankfurt 2016 LAN event.

This open qualifiers is for the ESL One Frankfurt 2016 event which will feature a $250,000 prize pool, and a LAN event at the Commerzbank-Arena in Frankfurt, Germany from the 18th to 19th of June.
