The last European qualifier for the Dota Pit LAN event is nearly done - with the CIS region again being the representative. Although having a clear region winner, it is still unclear what team would represent CIS as it is still possible for two teams to claim it.?
With the recent departure of Roman "Resolut1on" Fominok from Team Empire, it looked like it was the end for the team's strong performance. However, they showed that it was not the case and they played the opposite game of what they were expected of. Being able to top their group on the Dota Pit European Qualifers after defeating Stark Esports 2-0, it just shows how determined these guys are to make the world know that the loss of Resolut1on was not their downfall.
On the other hand, another team is looking to snatch the spot Team Empire so hardly earned. Tornado.RoX, a team that is also relatively new, being conceived just last January, is still on the game with 7 points and one more game to be played out against HellRaisers. If Tornado.RoX manages to win the game 2-0 and gaining 3 points, they will surpass Empire's score of 9, having a point of 10 themselves.
The team on the second place, Team Liquid, however, does not have the chance to claim the spot anymore as they have played their last game against HellRaisers with a score of 1-1, just a one game win shy away to tie the score with Team Empire and possibly a tiebreaker since their encounter was a draw.
The game between HellRaisers and Tornado.RoX will be played out today, February 15 at 20:00 CET.
