Evil Geniuses crowned Champions of MarsTV Dota 2 League 2016 Autumn
Andreas Franck 'Cr1t-' Nielsen, the new captain of Evil Geniuses and two times Major Champion with OG, is off to a very hot start. After he defeated his former teammates in both group stage and playoffs lower bracket finals, he lead the boys in blue to their first tournament trophy after the fall shuffle.
DreamLeague Season 6 announced the invited teams
After the resounding success that past editions had, DreamLeague is excited to announce DreamLeague Season 6 that will start on 11th October with a total prize pool of $231,000. Eight teams will battle it out for one of the 4 spots in the LAN playoffs at DreamHack Winter in Jönköping on the 25th of November.

FDL qualifies for Northern Arena BEAT Invitational
Started two weeks ago, on September 17, the qualifiers for Northern Arena BEAT Invitational ended with a highly disputed matchup between NP and FDL. Qualified for Northern Arena BEAT Invitational, FDL joins Digital Chaos, Evil Geniuses, Alliance and compLexity Gaming at the $100,000 LAN event scheduled to take place in Montreal, Canada at Bell Center from 11th to 13th of November. Three more teams are yet to be announced as direct invites to event.
Dota Pit Season 5 open qualifiers call to arms
Only two regions are eligible for Dota Pit 5 open qualifiers: Europe & CIS, plus America. Note that CIS and European qualifiers will have two rounds: one held on the 8th of October and one on the next day. The third open qualifier spot is granted to an American team. Registrations are tax-free and can be done starting today on FACEIT as follows:

While we are still waiting for the 6.89 patch to come, Dota 2 receive today a game play update, 6.88E bringing substantial nerfs to a lot of the current meta heroes.
