The South East Asian region is the first to have its qualified teams decided for the upcoming Boston Major.

Daryl Koh 'iceiceice' Pei Xiang’s International mix of players settled in Singapore has been the supreme team in the SEA regional qualifiers. Faceless ended their run undefeated through the group stage and playoffs and claimed the first qualifier spot. Fully sustained by iceiceice’s earning from China, Faceless is the first squad to have a team house in Singapore and to qualify for a Valve event with such a crushing performance. In their winner bracket final they had to deal with an extremely resilient Mineski, their two game series being one of the most intense from all the regions.

Perhaps exhausted after their previous matchup, Mineski lost the lower bracket finals against Warriors Gaming Unity, but not without putting a hell of resistance in the second game. The Malaysian fans might not have Fnatic at this Major to represent their country after they got eliminated earlier in the morning by WG Unity, but for sure they can expect much more from the second Malaysian team as their performance at these qualifiers was rather impressive. WG Unity is the only team across all the four regions to advance into the Boston Major LAN event from the open qualifiers rounds.

The Boston Major LAN event will run from7th to 10th of December at the Wang Theater with sixteen teams battling for the $3,000,000 prize pool share in a single elimination bracket.
