A misunderstanding between the DotaPit admins and Fnatic’s manager resulted in the Malaysian team being replaced in the regional qualifiers with Faceless.

Yesterday, DotaPit made a (now deleted) post on Twitter in which they were announcing Fnatic dropping out from the regional qualifiers due to roster problems. GosuGamers reached out to Fnatic’s manager, Eric 'ReiNNNN' Khor for a comment and he told us there’s not much to add other than what he already posted on Reddit yesterday. According to Fnatic’s manager, the team hasn’t decided anything yet about their roster and all he said to the DotaPit admins was that they are not ready to play in the SEA qualifiers.

If the Fnatic roster will change or not in the upcoming days will be revealed rather soon, as they are confirmed to participate at the ROG Masters LAN event starting on the 10th of November.

Until then, the new SEA sensation, Faceless will begin their DotaPit Season 5 quest for the LAN tickets, tomorrow in a double elimination bracket along with Mineski, MVP Phoenix and Execration.

Formed at Daryl Koh 'iceiceice' Pei Xiang’s and Wong 'NutZ' Jeng Yih’s initiative in the post TI6 shuffle, Faceless is a self-sustained team competing from Singapore that established immediate dominance in the SEA region. Faceless already qualified for The Summit 6 and went on a winning spree at the Boston Major qualifiers, claiming their spot into the LAN event with an undefeated run through both group and playoffs stages.
