This milestone puts it among the top games on the platform, joining the likes of Grow A Garden 2, 99 Nights in the Forest, and Brookhaven RP.

Animal Hospital, listed as Animal Hospital (Anomaly), is a new survival horror multiplayer game on Roblox. It combines concepts from multiple popular titles–such as the platform's Scary Shawarma Kiosk and 99 Nights in the Forest, as well as Kinetic Games' Phasmophobia.

The game, which is filled with adorable (and creepy) animal mascots, also offers some depth in lore, tons of variables to survive shifts, and is constantly evolving with new anomalies and Classes, keeping the game fresh and unpredictable. 

Two months after launch, Animal Hospital now records a 95% rating, with over 463 million visits to the game. It has a content maturity level of Minimal with light blood, mild violence, plus occasional jumpscares.  

What is Animal Hospital’s CCU on Roblox?

Animal Hospital has recorded a peak concurrent users of 736,948, according to Rolimon’s. The milestone, achieved on 5 July, continues the game's rapid upward trajectory, with player counts climbing steadily week after week.

The game got off to a strong start, reaching 57,000 concurrent players within its first month. Its popularity continued to surge heading into July, with player numbers increasing more than tenfold. It peaked at over 580,000 concurrent players on 28 June, before climbing even higher to more than 730,000 just a week later.

Is Animal Hospital multiplayer?

Yes, Animal Hospital is a multiplayer game that supports up to four players per party. You can team up with friends or other players in your server lobby to work together at the animal hospital and build shift streaks together. Once a shift ends, you'll return to the server lobby, where you can continue playing with your party or form a new one. 

How to play Animal Hospital on Roblox?

Palyers need to register normal patients and avoid anomalies in Animal Hospital–Roblox

Roblox’s Animal Hospital tasks you to check-in animal patients and treat them at a small hospital for monetary rewards. However, some of these patients are secretly anomalies. You need to avoid registering these anomalies to avoid hauntings that can ultimately end your shift run.

Instead of a health bar, the game uses a Sanity system–similar to Phasmophobia–where you need to keep your Sanity percentage above 0% by drinking coffee (or other alternatives) to avoid going crazy and dying. 

Being around anomalies can significantly decrease your Sanity, especially when encountering rituals, attacks, or disturbances, mostly as a result of registering anomaly patients or not sending them away. 

To detect anomalies early on, players can take photographs, check the CCTV, detect Sanity decrease, and so on, to spot if there is anything out of the ordinary. Some patients have more obvious signs than others. 

While handling these supernatural threats on the side, you must also perform your nursing duty diligently. You are required to treat normal patients by giving them the correct medicines. Neglecting or providing the wrong treatment can kill a patient–and three deaths ultimately mean you’re out. 

After surviving a shift, players will get monetary rewards, including money for that specific campaign and collectable currency, Animal Coins. Money in the game allows you to purchase upgrades and items, such as Tasers and Coffee. Meanwhile, Animal Coins are permanent currencies that you can use to purchase Classes.

Giving patients the wrong medicine or neglecting them will result in patient's death.

Starting a new game takes you back to day one. Each successful shift adds a day counter to your “Total Shifts” that are permanently visible on top of your avatar in the lobby. It's a streak players will want to rack up–for bragging rights and all–similar to the 99 Nights in the Forest progression system.

What are Classes in Animal Hospital?

In Animal Hospital, players can use Animal Coins to purchase various Classes, each providing their respective perks and benefits. Some Classes can only be purchased using Robux, but most are available to grab with this collectable currency. 

There are currently 10 Classes available in Animal Hospital all with varying strengths and prices. All Classes available in Animal Hospital right now are: Intern, Nurse, Secretary, Paramedic, Psychologist, Doctor, Security, Head Nurse, Surgeon, and Secret Agent. These Classes can provide boosts to Sanity, Utility, and give you additional Starter Money. Players can also level up their Classes to unlock additional benefits.
